Royal Mint recycles gold from e-waste: Laura Young says we need to use natural resources carefully

Laura, an environmental scientist and climate campaigner, tells Dave Piper it’s good that the Royal Mint is taking steps to reclaim precious metals from discarded electronic items - and to recycle the base metals and plastics that make them. But she says it also highlights the need for businesses and consumers to be careful about how they use the world’s limited resources - and the need for universal recycling across local government areas and nations.
