The siiiick RCLT HD Dusy Experience
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 8 май 2022
- BigMike, Alex, and Nate from @thegearshop7310 took three RCLT HD-equipped Toyota IFS rigs through the grueling 33-mile Dusy/Ershim trail, passing between two wildernesses of the Sierra Nevada Mtns of Central California.
This became the first Official RCLT HD group run which we plan to turn into an annual event on the Dusy!
Video recorded October, 2022.
[ BREAK THROUGH IFS DESIGN ]
A revolutionary 2-inch forward geometry allows 35" tires to fit with no trimming and 37s fit like 33s, integrated with Heavy Duty MarRack steering system. Strength proven over 45K on/off-road miles with 40" tires & zero steering, IFS, axle, or differential failures.
[ EXTREMELY STABLE GEOMETRY ]
All-new integrated steering & knuckle geometry provides unmatched alignment stability through 14" of travel.
[ LUDICROUS GROUND CLEARANCE ]
Inverted arms with inset shock mounts gains the ground clearance equivalent of going from a 31" to 40" tire.

3gen 4runner rclt and you got a buyer.
Looks awesome, this is the way, simple camping in between days of wheeling. Great footage and production quality. I really want to make it out to the Dusy but I'm not sure my new Bronco Badlands on 33s will cut it.
I think you'd be okay, but I would at least get some rock sliders and upgrades for the steering rack and tie rods first.
Check out broncbustertx.com
I pulled a trailer through that trail in my EB
Hans
@@hansoor8719 Good to know, thank you. I've been looking at his products but wasn't sure I needed them until I start lifting or adding larger tires. Will give it another thought though
Awesome video on my favorite trails! The drone footage really gives you a neat perspective of the area!! Great job!
Great trail, probably one of my favorite experiences to date. We ran it Courtright to Kaiser in 2021, and are going back to in 2023 to run it the other direction. Great job on the video.
I was so close to ordering the doubler but fell on hard times again. Can’t wait to be able to get it. Things crawl up and over anything!
Love this style of video
Badass run 🦾😎🦾😎🍻
Man I want that kit so bad. I hope it will be available down the road when I can afford it lol.
Hey Mike, it's Princess from Cruise Moab. Awesome video! I need RCLT in my life, soon
The green one just needs an actual army green paint job and off road tires that are still big but not obnoxious. The wheels look SICK tho
One of my all time favorite trails.
Been over 25 yrs since I've been on it.
That whole area up there has some of the best wheeling and camping.....Coyote Lake being my favorite.
I guess they call it "overlanding" now 😄
I've been overlanding for over 35yrs and didn't even know it!
Looks like a good time, I'm jealous!
Hans
I still call it Car camping , overlanding LOL
Such a great trip! Thanks again for letting me tag along! Also, my 4Runner looks so clean here. I've really been hammering on it since then; Krawl Wars, Cougar Buttes, KOH, Calico, Big Bear, Owen's Valley, etc. RCLT has been, well, siiiiick.
Can’t wait to do it again!
@@MarlinCrawlerMedia Hey what's up guys.
Was talking with my step son and I guess he did the rear three links on both of your rigs before his old boss Wyatt at Rock Solid Toys flaked out and screwed a lot of people (especially the kid) over!
Hans
@@hansoor8719 yeah ol Wyatt stole 11K from me last year right before he closed up shop and went into hiding. California AG is looking for him to prosecution. He did this to a lot of people. Can’t wait to hear about it when the hammer comes down on his ass. I think I met your stepson at his shop on Crawford in PLACENTIA. Is your stepson the one who used to weld for Wyatt as well?
@@JohnSmith-sh1zg Yeah Matt,
He's a good, honest hard working kid.
He would go in early and leave late trying to keep that jackass' promises....Wyatt really burned him too, owed him lots of back pay, embarrassed to even mention that he worked for him.
Wyatt conned a lot of folks, heard his wife gave him the boot too.
@@hansoor8719 yeah the guys in the shop were cool from what I seen and very talented. I showed up to his shop 4 days to late after he moved out. Luckily he didn’t have my vehicle and just my money. I feel for the guys who had both their money and vehicles tied up with him. There’s a RUclips channel called LiteBrite that even has a red Toyota on a few of their videos in which they had to redo and complete. It was part of the RST scam. It turned out excellent. I hope your stepson better luck in the future.
Believe me I am saving up for it. Might just take a bit
Who’s wants to move to Quebec ? Funny I live in Montreal ! Great video 🤙
Baddest 3rd Gen Taco on the Planet! Except Mike, ya need some BFG KM3s lol. Great video, thank you!
BFG needs to offer 40s 😢
Well, their KM3 39s are just about therel
killer
would love to have this in my first gen Tacoma, please build!
IFS is the future?
Marlin did my SAS in 2009 what the heck😂
were are you guys slick rock??
Hey isn't that Fred & Dave's 4th gen they made on Dirty Every Day?
Will Marlin crawlers ever make RCLT HD for the 1st Tacoma's?
Would love to join you guys sometime if you need an extra camera!
Please make a rclt kit for 3rd gen 4runner!!!
I know there is plenty of support for the 3rd gen 4runner but I would totally mod mine with RCLT if it was available for us!
Would it be possible to swap out the front half of the 4th gen onto the 3rd gen?
We know of two customers who are in the process of this very thing 😉
@@MarlinCrawlerMedia can I be customer three???
Awesome wheeling! more motor, less music please.
Mike is this footage recent? I’m local but I thought the Dusy doesn’t open until mid august?
Nice work & even as a jeeper I totally admire your builds & what you do for the local 4x4 community
Thank you for the comment David, this video is from last October 👍🏼
I feel personally attacked with the tent comments haha but seriously my GoFasCampers Superlite does not affect my driving experience. Actually gives me better MPG because it levels my truck and provides a flat surface for the wind to travel haha
Need to do that trail in my samurai. Already done Rubicon 3 times and getting ready for a fourth. Looked like a lot of fun. 👍😁
That place open to public or you have special permits to get passed locked gate?
Thank you for the question. It is open to the public and no permits are required, however, it has a limited time of use which is only available from August through October each year due to an endangered toad.
@@MarlinCrawlerMedia What?
When did they start that nonsense?
Used to be a rock trail in So Cal, Santiago Canyon, they shut down because of the "Arroyo Toad" well, the canyon was dry half of the year, where was the toad then?
FYI, ran that trail for over a decade, never once saw the toad!
Enviornazis doing what they always do!
Hans
I was actually looking to do a little R/R disburse camping near the dam in a couple of days. So the gate at Courtright Way/McKinnley Rd. is a go?
Is that green 4Runner from Dirt Every Day?
10-4!
I was going to ask the same question 😁
Just wondering? And I see the RCLT kit is around $7500 , How much would the grand total be with Axles, Locker and Everything you would need to pull this off? Not trying to Facetious, just wondering? And it's crazy how much the guy driving Fred's Weird Green Toyota sounds like David Chappelle and he's driving the yota that Him and Fred built, these sound exactly the same 😆
They , my eyes ain't what they used to be 😆
It's around 11-12K per their website.
@@freedomrider266 Mucho Dinero but way better than stock
Seriously considering RCLT now... But I would rather get a 460 and install on that than the 470
We love the 470, but we are ready for the first install into a 460! So long as you can fit the MarRack under the 1UR, then the rest should bolt in 👍🏼 Note: RCLT HD is not compatible with sway bars so you’d need to disable the front KDSS system.
@@MarlinCrawlerMedia hey, you guys get me the system, I'll get the 460/make it fit lol
And portals are way better
