How to open a senseo padholder for cleaning

- If a Senseo coffee machine does not work any more as intented, like spilling out a lot less coffee than it used to, you might have to clean out your padholder. This video shows how to open this thing.

Great tip, they changed it on newer holdders though ( mesh and ring one piece ) but it still works similary

That disk is stuck in there pretty good after almost 10 years of service. I used a drop of dawn to help clean the screen. Back to working like new.

hahaha xD i just broke my little 1.8 mm screwdriver and almost lost an eye xDDD super tip XDDD now im thinking about how mutch does this tiney little pad holder costs.. and is it worth to loose an eye for it? xDD 5 € from 100 people wichtried out this at home 2 people have lost an eye for a 5 € article xDDD
this movie is fake, the original staining spoon inside this little ring, has been destroyed by using the screwdriver the actual staining spoon you can see in this movie has been remade seperatly, he simply took one out of a water armature and cuttet it into the rightsize, but, its not ´the right size, cause the ring now sits on top of it, so it stands out a mm now, (size of the spoon) shouldnt be a big problem though, but you could have warned us that this way to open it destroys the spoon, the main point is, when u have a needle now you allways can clean the little hole, im not realy sure why they placed a spoon there at all lol...

This is bullshit. At least on the podholder I have. It's all one-piece. Little ring in the center is not removable.
I take it back. See the spoon trick limked below. My bad.
What a dirty machine. What kind of people use a machine like this to prepare their coffee...
