My boy is far the friendliest, most gentle and affectionate feline I’ve ever met. Not one mean bone in his body. For some reason, he spent 4 months at the shelter before he chose me.
A few years ago, I adopted a cat from the animal shelter. She had been so sweet and affectionate when I first met her and had such pretty blue eyes, I couldn't resist her. Her fur appeared "normal" (medium in length) that day, though I later discovered that they must have trimmed it down a good bit, because her fur seemed to double in length over the next few months. Her personality is also unlike any other cat I've had. She is very affectionate and wants my undivided attention at times, even tapping me on the shoulder at night when I'm trying to go to sleep and she wants to be petted. It's the sweetest feeling, that little paw tapping on my shoulder, even though I keep telling her to stop and go to sleep (lol). Or she will give me a "love bite" on my leg if I'm not looking at her. She also doesn't care about strangers in the house. My other two cats will run and hide, but this one will continue to sit on the couch and watch the new person (sometimes even walk over to them). The shelter had "Himalayan Mix" on her paperwork, but I stumbled upon the info about Ragamuffins tonight and I sincerely believe this is her breed. She looks identical to the cat at 0:53, big blue eyes and all. Those eyes will get you. They look so sad sometimes, when she looks at me like she wants me to pet her. Like Puss in Boots from the Shrek movies. lol
My Ragamuffin Ollie doesn't, "meow." He mumbles his cat talk. So cute. What a great cat. He comes up to me every morning and gives me kisses and cuddles on my chest. What a cool kitty.
I love this breed! Every time I come home to Mittens after work and he is so affectionate
