How I Rehearsed for the World Championship of Public Speaking

Every year in July the semi-finalists of the Toastmasters International Speech Contest are announced and they start a roller coaster ride in the hopes of becoming the next world champion. Here is how I planned my rehearsal schedule in the lead up to the semi finals and ultimately the finals. I hope this will help aspiring champions to plan their journey to that ultimate stage, and also make it clear how much work goes into winning.
