We have common house lizzards in SG. We kept cathing them and put them back out, but they always find their way back. So we are house mates now with them 😅. Btw, use google lens to identify creatures.
I go out almost everyday to find birds and photograph them. That helps me to take my mind off things for a while. I bet Bali has loads of nice birds.

Get some vinegar, put in a sprayer, add half with water and spray affected areas. Or put some vinegar on a wet cloth and wipe twice a week.

I love Bali, Because many countries are now like a "crisis"& war, many are protesting like just stop oil, don't eat meat, and so on But Bali has respect for animals and nature so good (except a lot of scooters) 😊,It is better if you have a "best friend" like a cat or a dog to live in Bali for the lizards not to come again 😃 🙏

Oh no, that scrambled eggs look rubbery. You should take it off heat before it completely sets, the residual heat will make them set.

Georgia your adventures wirh the lizards remind me of me! Living on a low floor, cockroaches and lizards are definitely a bother. You can buy insecticides but lizards seemed to be immune from these. I'm so damn "geli" (Malay for squeamish) of them....but I still do battle whenever I see them! They're always lurking where you least expect...like curtains, toilets n window hinges, clothes, yikes!...LOL hate them pests😂

When I lived in Singapore, lizards were just a fact in the apartment, they were called chechaks, they never bothered me and ate the insects.

That's tokek. Alot in Bali. and they are very noisy and loud. Once it was in my bathroom window. And we have to use a long stick to chase it out. I hate tokek too cuz they likes to crawl around the building. And hide in between the window wall around the frame. Have to keep the doors and windows closed all times. Next time you can ask anyone to help around your neighborhood and give them some tips. I always do that. Keke

You should give the lizard a name if it comes back there were two in my garden (here in Southern California thry are smaller and grey brown) and I named them Tanaka and Charles. There's a few now but I don't mind them since they eat the insects, though same inside the house it is a different story lol.

Its a Friendly Gecko. Just close the door, in INdonesia most houses always closed their room because pest can gets in. the reason for Lizards or gecko gets in is because you let the door open.

Lizards do eat insects in the house. If this lizard can be on the top of the wall, cabinet, and ceiling, it should be good as an insect killer. Of course, around you, especially near your working station😂not so ideal and be eerie if it should crawl onto your skin😂.
