    Hi there! Math teacher here. I actually appreciated the Unexpected courage scale and the digression over Deny Existence being equal to WoP in terms of UC. Also the 180 degrees talking by Brin was nice. I'll use that somewhere during the year

    My most best favourite top strongest level zero Mystic cards are Enchanted Blade, Read the Signs and Drawn to the Flame. I like fighting and Enchanted Blade is one of the best level zero weapons, and the other two cards are events that give me clues even though I'm a fighter and my book stat is bad.

    Irrelevant to the video, but I want to predict that Alessandra will be S tier. If you think of her as a mystic that uses Parley cards as her spells, she gets a free action every turn to do whatever she wants, and has an auto-include shirt that gives her +2 brain. S tier.
    If I'm right, I demand as my prize that Travis mentions me in a video because he's my favorite.

      She ain't a 4 fist Mystic. She's a Guardian in her upgrades so she can't play the upgraded Enchanted Blade.

    I feel like Down the Rabbit Hole + Adaptable is a great combo - you can use Adaptable for 2 free swaps every chance you get, bypassing the extra exp cost from DTRH. Shame that I think Dexter Drake is the only character who can use it. (Only works for upgradeable stuff with a level 0 version, but still.)
    Technically Sefina can as well, I suppose, but she'd only be able to take mystic spells up to level 2 at max, and Rogue has like 2 upgradeable spells... which don't have a level 0 version and so can't be adaptable'd in.

      DTrH don't care about spells, sefina can upgrade other stuff

      Oh dang you're super right, I was combining it with Arcane Research in my head I think, so yeah, better than I thought. I guess that makes it a somewhat viable option on any rogue that can take level 0 mystic abilities, neat.

    When you get Hemlock Vale pls give us your deckbuilding video for characters you will take through campaign for your first playthrough. Also would be awesome if you use something of a restricted pool so you don't destroy the campaign in the first try

      We don't try and bring super optimal decks to first campaign runs. Look at our first Scarlet Keys campaign, we got absolutely crushed in that one.
      Edit: But I will try and remember to record a deckbuilding video or showcase of our decks before the campaign!

    Is the ratio between Wards to Unexpected Courages the same as Stanley Nickels to Schrute Bucks?
    Out of curiosity, what are the demographics for the channel?

    Do we think anyone has ever tried a Wendy Adams / Scroll of Secrets Deck. Seems like a goofy idea to try and pull off in a standalone

    You guys forgot Delve too deep! Clearly #1 mystic lvl 0 card

    • @PlayingBoardGames
      @PlayingBoardGames  Год назад +1

      For me personally, it doesn't pass the "in my deck at scenario 8" test. Delve Too Deep is great, but it has its notable downsides and upsides compared to the other XP boosters I listed in the video. I'm looking at getting rid of Delve Too Deep around scenario 4 or 5, which automatically disqualifies it from my own personal criteria for what makes a level 0 card "the best."

    Mystic is my favorite class, but I hate Down the Rabbit Hole and Arcane Research. They're good, they're helpful. I get it. But they're so borrring.
