Durian is quite common in Singapore, just not allowed on public transport. People who do it it served fresh usually wear plastic gloves to avoid carrying the smell around with them. However I'm not tempted.

I was recently in Indonesia. What a wonderful experience. We spent time in Jakarta then went inland to the mountains. I would love to experience the islands. There was a fruit that was presented as a creamy desert. Many don't like it. I thought it was amazingly different and good. I want to return.

Durian by itself is the fruit I love the most after bananas. So yummy. It doesn’t smell bad when it’s frozen, but smells really bad when it’s fresh.
