Hey I was with you until you said bring rap in the church. We cannot compromise as preachers of God.There is to much of the worlds music in the church’s today.Jesus said either be hot or cold, but not lukewarm. Revelation 3:15-16 King James Version 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Jerry Humphrey you do know that you’re not compromising anything bringing a rap lyric into your sermon otherwise your message becomes irrelevant or fall on deaf ears to the millennial or younger audience. “Walk it like I talk” is a rap lyric yet it can biblically imply that one will have to walk out the Word in their daily lives rather than just talking it
if you put the gospel message in a rap song god will use that to win souls for his glory, for example-is your heart right with god does your soul belong to Jesus or do you feed your flesh and let it do as it pleases, hey I'm talking to you when your planted in a casket your time is through, you have a choice for your soul while you live here on earth,to give your heart to god and have a spiritual birth, maybe your thinking I still have time tell that to the people who crashed in that airline,ah man people are dropping dead like flies going straight to hell because they believe in Satan's lies,Jesus Christ he's the man with the plan he's the answer for the man digging in a trash can,he's the answer for that lost girl doing dope, divorced, broken hearted,my lord Jesus means hope, dont try and lie and say nobody told me when you stand before the throne of God almighty, this is gospel rap that glorifies god and not myself, this is a good message for any sinner that doesn't know Jesus christ, theirs nothing wrong with using rap with a gospel message,as long as it brings people to Jesus and edifies the church, god bless you
@@analeahmayorga1427we should also use prostitution and porn so long as it brings people to Christ by that logic of yours. The Bible is sufficient to bring all to Christ so either we believe in the sufficiency of the Bible or not

What about plainness of speech? I think the Bible talks about that.
