I love the fact he`s wearing a Smiths Tee shirt, this guy is cool with a capital K ...
They were just cool
My Mrs doesn't get it
I reply anti pop.
Worked for me still love
💯
I always cry 😢 when I hear this masterpiece. Melancholic
So right.....never forget the 80s
THIS HAIRCUT IS THE BEST
Maybe peak quiff . Good to see 👍🏻
A Moz Masterpiece, still beautiful in 2023 !
And 2024!
Song that doesn't age with time. After all those years and all the music I been listening to still among my top 20. If I should only pick one song by Morrissey, this is the one.
Gosh look at him, bereft of his band but standing out there in that t shirt as if to say I STILL LOVE YOU ALL. He was untouchable back then.
I spent soo long tied up with life ! What a masterpiece of music
Amen brother. Morrissey is a prophet
"How I dearly wish I was not here"- Wow, you can't get more powerful than that when it comes to deep depression and being greatly disappointed in life.
True. I also love that it's a take off the famous "I wish you were here" postcard sentiment. Quintessential Morrissey!
I think it means he can't deal with the nostalgia of returning to the town.
The next lines are ...'In the seaside town, that they forgot to bomb, come, come, nuclear bomb'
It could get pretty depressing in Thatcher's England.
superb tune......love it beyond words
one of the best songs ever made love it!!!!
Totally agree Sharon
We love you Morrissey for your music and because you are a good man who speaks to us.
He is not a good man
@@marguskiis7711 Viva Moz.
Speaks to who????
@@erikhaack4123 Introverts lol
@@marguskiis7711 How do you know, people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones 🖤
That quiff is magnificent!
Peak quiff period I should think . Makes the unashamed elderly gentleman we have now all the more precious . 👍🏻👍🏻
He's the best lounge singer ever. I heard this once a one time ago and it struck me as the thing that unfolded Morrissey for me so that I understood him totally. It may not be the right statement, but its what I needed to hear at the time to reveal Morrissey to me.
This should be the 2020s soundtrack. Quarantine song!
Prison planet 🌍
Exactly
Sublime masterpiece, etereal song
Was livin in Southend at times this came out, the video was filmed there in 80s
I think this video shows Morrissey at the top of his game. Great song and great easy going performance.
He looks great. Great outfit, and great hair cut...suits him well.
Such quiff mastery - it must be 5 inches tall.
Totally agree with yr take
Escutando em Setembro de 2023, música boa nunca morre.❤❤❤❤❤❤
I was 24 & the world seemed less complicated & nicer
Right. What's your real last name?
The world was just as complicated as it is now. As much as things change some things stay the same.
@@HottiedonkeyRourke!
True. I was at Poly, write a letter home or phone from a phone box. Use cash only. Pubs everywhere, most not allowing under 18s. It was different then and I'd go back in a heartbeat.
Great song but it's kinda sad seeing him there alone where he once stood by Marr, Rourke and Joyce
so underrated. perfect, sad song. used to listen on gray, gloomy Sundays...
UNDERRATED? He sold millions of copies, the views on RUclips are spectaculars, everybody know this song!
@@vikos78 never underrated
Amazing video, thanks
For those of us old enough to remember when Sundays were dead, that model of Ford escort, and Gail Tyldesley's best mate Susie Birchall.
Whoever put this together, thank you for creating something to enjoy in this crazy world. Superb quality and the way it is has been put together to reflect the original promo vid- can only tip my hat and applaud.
Wow, thank you!

You are amazing!!
so sweet The Smiths shirt. Awwww what a guy
Watch the live version in Manchester.... It brings goosebumps to your skin 👌👌
Interesting video... there's no band, but he's still amazing! 🥰
Just a great track.
Written after a visit to my hometown Southport. This is the coastal town that they forgot to close down. Compared to 2023 seaside towns were in good health in the late eighties, though clearly in decline and beset by various problems.
I’m a poet today because of folk like Morrissey.
Is an amazing lyricist, no one like him
I love this man💋
awesome!! im easy like sunday mornin,.,.no,.bloody sunday!
Un nudo en la garganta oyendo este tema. Que maravilla de música, estética, época...!
Beautiful 😍
Definitivamente Morrissey es lo más grande que hay y q'ha habido.
Morrissey is definitely the the greatest artist the world's ever seen.
Excellent edit.
Cheers. 👍
*There are not enough words...😔💔*
Espetacular!!!!
Que temazo por la ptm, es fascinante, melodía pura para los oídos finos
Living in a town which bores me to tears, which doesn't even have a bowling alley I can relate and it does even have the ocean
Legend
I love that song 😊
You can just tell that the has something special about him. He is definitely artistic. Imagine he is difficult to live with though as those types seem to be.
I remember seeing this when i was maybe 12/13 years old and falling in love with a guy for the very first time❤
And still very proud of it 😍
Hits song all over the world
Am new to the Morrissey love. Am I mistaken? Is this song about a nuclear war???
"The dust that lands on your hands, and on your face" etc...etc....???
He's adorable.
Angela Riley. Yeah, really lovely when he wears his racist badges
Quokka Pirquish

The greatest wise ass in history. Just love his lyrics.
Frankly Mr shankly I want to go down cellular history
Everything super!
Octubre 2022 esta canción es hermosa, la amo ❤️😍
Primera vez que veo este video, Morrissey hace los mismos pasos como si estuviera cantando "panic". Extraño que trajera una playera de The Smiths. Buen video
So GOOD :)
4uking brilliant 🇬🇧🏴🤟🏻
British charming man
Morrissey ❤❤❤
Temazo 🔥

i loved this band so much in the 80s i had no idea he was gay. that's how powerful their music was.
Nice.
Love that he's wearing the smiths t shirt

Este Man,se adelantó en el futuro 😮😊
what the hell is that mic supposed to be, severed? lol
Amazing sound must be HD
Moz❤que gran estrella 🌟🎶
"Quilloughby" brought me here.... 😍😍😍😍
Nice sentiment
Can we appreciate how gorgeous this man is
Such a shame this wasn't a Smiths song. It would've undoubtedly been considered one of their best. 😭
With Smiths it would not be so good. Street was so much better songwriter than Marr those days. Marr became good when he hit 50.
❤the smiths ❤
He's wearing his "Queen is Dead" shirt----to remind us from whence he came...
Who the hell had better hair than MORRISSEY?! 😍
Kojak LOL
Very distinctive voice & performance the lad has, really like listening to him & the Smiths at almost 70 yrs old
🌹🌹❤❤❤
Hbd morrisey
It should really be called Every Day is Like Sunday.
But why is he wearing a Smiths tee shirt underneath?
🚀🚀🛸🛸
Many English seaside towns are lonely and grey in winter.
What a hottie he was lol :) ❤ sweet youth ❤️
Mozzer s best track
Jacqueline Partida Bajonero...
