I know it's old video but, the belt temp was way more than 165 deg for sure. The Factory temp sensor is for the air temp inside the clutch housing, not the actual belt temp. So you were most likely running that belt over 200deg. Did you even figure it out the clutching problem ?

I have the same clutch kit, just blew 3 belts in one weekend.
Stay tuned, he decided to ditch it and go with a full float clutching setup from KWI. Looking forward to making a video on it.

Get yourself an alba racing clutch cover shield guard…will protect ur plastic housing if nothing else…
