Today's video is of my flight to Amsterdam last month from Manchester to begin 5 days of spotting at the legendary Schiphol Airport. Reg: G-EZWJ c/n;5638 Date Filmed: 23rd July 2014 We were very lucky to jump the queue at the end of 05L at Manchester because at one point, there were six aircraft holding ahead of us. After departure, we climbed out over the Peak District climbing to 31000ft and then we commenced our descent over the North Sea to arrive on Schiphol's Kaagbaan runway (06). After landing, I visited the flight deck and spoke with the co-pilot for about 10 minutes while the captain was doing the checks outside. The flight was about 99% full. Schiphol could've been renewed from bottom to the top, and increased in size, but surrounding neighbors are complaining about everything...
Like c'mon people, Schiphol was there way before they even moved to the schiphol area.
