This was the first Batman movie I ever saw, and while it's goofy, ridiculous, and cheesy, it's still what introduced me to the Batman mythos and for that alone I freaking love it
BATMAN , THE MOVIE SOUNDTRACK SOUND GREAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS FOR DECADES BRINGS BACK GREAT MEMORIES OF MY CHILDHOOD WHERE MY MOTHER ACTUALLY TOOK ME TO SEE THAT MOVIE WITH MY SISTER. TOO THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS SOUNDTRACK I'M VERY GRATEFUL I'M GOING TO BE ROCKING THIS SOUNDTRACK IN MY TRUCK AND IF I HAVE TO DEFEND MYSELF ONE DAY I'M GOING TO TAKE A MINUTE AND PLAY PARTS OF THIS SOUNDTRACK LOL. .
Without this movie without the soundtrack IT WOULD BE NO BATMAN AT ALL LIKE HE IS HERE TODAY GOD BLESS THE PEOPLE WHO BROUGHT ADVENTURE AND IMAGINATION TO THE SILVER SCREEN AND TO TELEVISION . THANK YOU AGAIN FOR POSTING THIS SOUNDTRACK
I remember my mother took me to International New York Auto Show at the New York Coliseum back in 1975 I shook the and of Adam West in his Batman costume and Burt Ward and his Robin costume it was a very awesome moment for me those dudes are true gentleman and they are very very kind to children I was young back then I'll never forget them.
Thank you, Fred! I'm going to trot over to Amazon and buy this music. Besides his work on this film and the TV series, Riddle also wrote the theme to "Route 66," won an Oscar for his score to the 1974 version of "The Great Gatsby," and pretty much created the sound which revived Frank Sinatra's career beginning in 1953 with "I've Got the World on a String." He was an incredibly respected musician.
Hello there, before you buy it you may take a look into the description. La-La Land Records re-released the album with spectacular new artwork. It's cheaper as the original release now and features the exact same tracks, maybe you prefer that choice. :-) Fred
I noticed there were a few Riddle/Batman releases, compared them out and yep, La-La Land offers the same thing - with really appropriate Pop artwork as about a third of the price.
Batman: The Movie! An absolut silly movie, that comes with a legendary Theme by Neal Hefti (The Odd Couple) and a score written by the very skillful arranger and composer Nelson Riddle (El Dorado, Paint Your Wagon). Enjoy!
Adam West I would always love this Batman because of you, you will always be the original and this is coming from a 23 year old boy so lol that’s how real this is thank you for everything Rest In Peace
God bless Adam West. Cesar Romero. Burgess Meredith. Frank Gorshin who all made the cult classic TV series the success it was and still loved after all these years.
A gifted composer who's music have established a cultural impact around the world with many others from the 60s era including the original composer of this show Mr. Neal Hefti. A fan and an admirer from Pakistan.
Nelson Riddle was the "Greatest" And most prolific arranger of popular music of his time, the 50's and 60's. Fortunately for us it was all based on the jazz and swing idium. The music including the Neal Hefti "Batman theme" was probably the most important element of this TV series and the theatrical release. Each character has their own mini-theme which you can see in the original opening credits. If you'd like to know how important the music actually is to this TV show and the character of Batman . All you have to do is watch any child pretending to be Batman and you will hear them sing "da dadadadadada Batman'"
To the one and only, The greatest Batman of them all, Adam West. The only Batman who actually saved DC from going Bankrupt and who made every other Batman possible.
Those people take the super heroes seriously, i.e. as just entertainment. Today people take the super heroes too freaking seriously and that... that is really absurd.
The powers that be really need to release the music from the original 1966 television series-- character motifs and themes, bridges, music for night clubs and discos, fight music. The whole thing. Something that good cannot be unavailable or gone for good. I love Catwoman's theme from the first two seasons, which always sounded a little like a meow with a bit of a Twilight Zone theme as well. Fantastic. The only thing we have near this dream of a collection is the kitschy album that includes a dozen tunes, with some dialogue from the show thrown in: ruclips.net/p/PL1jKJNV-jYeXwRxBp9hwP7_CyZf4-6tu2 Honestly, if the original "Scooby Doo, Where Are You?" scores from 1969 by Ted Nichols are now available, the background music from Batman should be too.
Rest in peace, Adam west. You were a good man and a very talented guy and you are sorely missed.
This soundtrack wakes up many memories for me as a 5 year old kid watching this movie over and over on vhs :)
Without this musical score it would not have endured as long as it has this time more (50) years ago. TIMELESS classic
7:46 for all those days when you just can't get rid of a bomb.
Watched the movie last night, I laughed so hard on that part, this movie is comedy gold

Got to love the raunchiest sounding love theme ever kitka from 2:07 -2:40 and then again at 3:46 in the middle of jet umbrella lol
This movie and the show may be campy but they made me a fan of Batman. Proudly have both the 1966 movie and show and I will always love watching them
I have the DVD hard to find even after all these years I wouldn't even think of parting with it

Especially with 06:17 = "Credulous Creatures / Fine Finkish Friends"
I’m doing the exact same thing 😂
The Danny Elfman of 60's ! Just AWESOME.
Leon He also did the arrangements for like half of all the songs Sinatra put out back in the day
Danny Elfmans score was heavily cribbed from Bernard Hermann
The Ending notes give me chills
Beautiful aren't they?
That’s a hot ass suite.
2:07 I love the Miss kitka score. A PURRfect date music right there for the first 30 seconds
Adam West I would always love this Batman because of you, you will always be the original and this is coming from a 23 year old boy so lol that’s how real this is thank you for everything Rest In Peace
The BEST BATMAN EVER YOU KNOW WHEN YOU SEE SOMETHING GOOD, ADAM WEST
The most imaginative Batman music score ever written.
I saw this movie as a kid way back.
God bless Adam West. Cesar Romero. Burgess Meredith. Frank Gorshin who all made the cult classic TV series the success it was and still loved after all these years.

By far best batman theme (I’m probably alone on that though)
No you aren't!
DAVID that’s good to hear
No I totally agree with you brother!!!
That fading practical effect on the Ride Cymbal during "False Feathers" is top-notch.
1:24 always and forever
Anthony Petrillo by far one of my favourite bits of it
Those girls waving to Batman on his helicopter.

Love the Batman 1966 cues.
El mejor tema de Batman. ¡Excelente!. En el minuto 8:44 empieza la belleza de este temazo. ¡Enhorabuena, buen trabajo!
Batman and miss Kitka, which was cat Woman. How could Batman not see that.
Jazz at it's best. To me this soundtrack is way better than the recent ones.
this goes hard af

Saw the in 1966 in the theater with a bunch of screaming kid cheering Batman and Robin
Campy Batman is a good Batman
the rubber shark on the leg was great - nearly better than spielbergs shark
Those people take the super heroes seriously, i.e. as just entertainment. Today people take the super heroes too freaking seriously and that... that is really absurd.

Love this movie theme, but I love catwoman's theme segment here the most!!!
The main title theme is incomplete. Here is the full length version: ruclips.net/video/CxB4I-VSpwk/видео.html
I Look like I'm taking down an enemy 6:17
Shame it doesn't have the Submarine Music, that's a great supervillain theme. Or I can't find it.

Ironman, Spiderman, Cat Woman, Wonder Woman,...No man-type heroes or heroines except Superman can match the Batman!
