I could totally imagine sonic and mario thinking that they can do better than the other, but the way spider executes the competition feels kind of out of character for luigi and tails.
Such a question, why is Mario's model used from Super Mario Odyysey and Luigi has his old model from Super Mario Galaxy? I think there is a model from Odyysey, and just without the balloons and butterfly.
