I really appreciate you showing what doing this wrong looks like. That helps a lot to identify problems I am having.

Thank you so much for this video, Mark! I believe, this is the most comprehensive class on studio lighting I've ever seen. The mistakes section makes its value skyrocket. Many thanks again!

Probably one of the best tutorials I've seen.
Showing examples of what 'not' to do and seeing those results was very helpful.
    Thank you!

Appreciate the video Mark. Can I ask you a dumb question. What is the role of the reflector that you attach to the light behind your model?

I see that the strip box is positioned to light up the model on the same side as the main light. I was wondering why not place the separating light on the side that is more in shadow? Is it because it would look less natural to have it coming from the opposite side of the main light? In what circumstance would you recommend choosing to place the strip box on the opposite side?

Even with such detailed instructions, it’s really hard to capture the exact same picture. A single step left or right, or a slight movement of the models head, and the photo will be ruined.

Ngl I don't like that he portrayed allot of these as negative, it's just a different look, the reason people hire you as a photographer is to get your look, not for you to follow a "recipe" and get a portrait that looks the same as every other photographer smh 🤦‍♂️

I did like the over expose examples he used cause he never techincally showed any disastrous examples
