Hello, first of all, I wanted to thank you for the videos on this printer. Then I wanted to ask something: how does the pump cleaning work? If I have to use a different type of resin for the next print, can I be sure that they won't mix? Or does the pump need to be cleaned after each print?
I have 3 question about feeding pump system.... 1.) Can we take a resin manualy to a vat with out using a pump or not? 2.) How it known that to stop feeding a resin on a vat ,it have a sensor or anything else to sending a feedback to stop a pump unit? 3.) How it can feed a resin on vat for a big volume model automatically (to ensure that a big volume model not lack of resin for consumtion) ?
1.) Yes. Pour it in as usual. I generally use it just for emptying the vat. It's amazing for that 2.) it will auto-stop at 500ml 3.) No "low resin" detection. You will want to start it yourself. Not sure if the new model has this
they should do what reef tank supplement bottles have, there is a small plastic rod on the top of the lids that you can snap off and it creates a small hole for pump dosing into fish tanks.
if you suggest a less complicated one for the test print, but the titanic doesn't work, what do you do? i mean, that's kinda weird that their own test print didn't work repeatedly...
I went with the other test print, which came out perfect. Both are way to complex for a test print. That said, my Mage Pro prints very well. I did replace the stock fep

Thank you for this test print! The machine seems to be noisy 🤔, is it possible to disconnect the air filter? And what about the resin pump, is it a real step further or is it not really necessary? I don't really need extra speed, so I m thinking that non-pro would be enough for me
You can turn the air off at the touch screen. Resin pump is optional. Can always just pour it in like usual. Yes, the fan is kinda loud. Didn't bother me much though. I here the UI is better than the non pro
The pro seems to have a similar UI as the rest of the Halot range, the non pro mage has a completely different UI and is very limited compared to the pro when you want to adjust print settings. I think that the resin fill is too slow to be practical but the resin empty option is good for getting the majority of the resin out of the vat cleanly as it’s very messy when emptying the vat by taking the vat off. I found the creality water washable very smelly, I used anycubic abs like resin + and sunlu resins that smell less to begin with and the air filter on the mage removed the majority of the smell when compared to my Halot one with anycubic battery powered air filter running within the hood of the printer. I have a mage pro on order and unfortunately I have had to return my non pro mage back to the creality UK store as it arrived damaged, I cant blame creality for the condition of the printer on arrival, but the customer support received is poor and very disappointing. Big thank you for the review, good luck slicing your own models as support for the mage series is limited to beta versions of Halot box (extremely buggy) or chitubox pro beta v1.4 (buggy but useable).
I got the non-pro on a early sale. The difference in Z axis speed is huge between the Pro and the non-pro. Serious and even frightening speed on the Pro!
Would you say that non -pro is good enough? I 'm looking for quality print over speed, because for speed you need special settings, special resin, so the cost is higher... If Mage non -pro is as good as saturn 2 or M3, then I m gonna probably buy it...
YES, totally a solid machine. I use an M3 daily, and it's super. The Non pro will be as good or better. Llikely better. We just need Chitobox support, STAT
The Anycubic. Standard one is a little small. The big one (Wash and Cure PLUS) is epic and will handle almost anything! I still use the little one daily though. amzn.to/3IR8Zjr
WHICH ONE ?? Anycubic M5s - or - Creality Halot-Mage Pro - or - Elegoo Saturn 8k - or - ?????? ................ There are great options out there so which one??? Anycubic 12K & Auto leveling is impressive . Creality Halot-Mage pro has a autofill, tilt lid.
I have 3 Anycubic and have had much success with them. They are also supported by the major slicers. I have no hesitance to recommend them. The Mage Pro, I have to work with on a slicer some more first. But the test print did a great job, with no soft spots, etc. Looking like it's gonna be a beast
Tell you a secret, I kinda am too! I never got the confidence that I have with FDM. But they can be so cool, for the right jobs.... Jump in. Push your comfort zone. What's the worst that happens? You suck and F*** up a bunch of prints? So what. Try again! Get on ebay, grab a cheap used Anycubic photon Mono or similar, for like $80, and Dive in!
hello from Denmark, you are using toxic chemicals, you must remember to wear the right gloves, respiratory protection and eye protection when working with resin or epoxy
@@3DRundown Love your videos but remember safety its important plz make a Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) done and put filter and air ducts on the room
just cap the bottle with saran wrap or aluminum foil, and poke a hole to feed he hose through.
That works too. I just leave mine open cause I'm lazy. That and 90% of my Mage Pro prints fail, so I've only used it for 2 models
@@3DRundownoh wow that’s a terrible rate. Do the same STL files print fine on other resin printers?
I've had really bad luck with it. I do better with my Anycubics. I'm sure it's somehow me. I may have to try a different FEP.

I use the app all the time. Use a Nebula Camera

No. Is quiet.

With this printer, Are you stuck with using only the built-in V2 print adjustments? Of will it accept V3 print settings from the slicer? Thanks.
Hi, I'd have to look this up. Not familiar with V2/V3 thing.
So Creality sent you the skin color resin. I remember when Crayola had skin-colored crayons. They changed the name to "peach." Can you guess why?
😂😂😂 Two Bottles of it...... Just what I wanted. 🤦🏼♂️

I'm a little concerned about slicing, but it's brand new, and I suspect Chito and Lychee to support it in short order

Yea, Dymax mode is nuts. I have to test that!! But they sent me the wrong Resin. 😡😡 I may try it on regular resin

Hi , and how about the speed?
I don't have high speed resin
@@3DRundown doesnt work with "normal" resin?
No, not in "DYNAX" (High Speed) mode. I have the new "FAST RESIN" on the way
😮 that thing is huge 😮😊
Bro, it's ENOURMOUS! Makes the huge Wash & Cure Plus, looks small! Makes the Anycubic MAX, which is HUGE, look small!
