  • I made my first offline cut with the ATOMSTACK A5 M50 PRO Laser Engraving Machine. The project was designed in Tinkercad and cut out of cardboard. The file was exported via Lightburn. Of course, there is more Atomstack to come. Thanks for watching and have a great day!

Hello do you know if I can upgrade this kit with a 20watt laser module head. It’s from an atomstack A20 pro kit.

I am not sure. I have never attempted an upgrade for a laser.

    Good night HL.
    Excellent video.
I have one A5 M50 PRO and the optical pick-up accepts all mechanical excursion commands. After adjusting the laser speed and power, it does not enter RUN mode. Can you help me? Other thing: in the local controller software there is no WI-FI configuration option.😅

Thank you for the kudos. I do not have an answer for your question though. Have you tried to reach out to Atomstack support?

Dark acrylic works great. Clear... no dice.

Nice video! Would you say this laser is ok to cut 3mm or 4mm plywood and/or mdf?

    • @HLModTech
      @HLModTech  Год назад +1

I have not tried plywood or mdf, but I have cut 6mm pine with it.

Both are pretty slick. Not sure which I like more. The offline feature is wicked cool. Being able to run it off an SD card is so slick.

Why didn't mine come with the stupid interface? All I got was the stupid usb cord. Did you have to purchase it separately?
This is exactly what I am trying to do, but the stupid GUI won't do all that from my computer. I really don't care to use the 2 softwares.
The thing came with an app in the app store.
I was told I could do it all from my phone with the app when I asked about not having an interface.
As long as I'm connected to it they say. Hasn't been true so far. I'm about done with this thing,
This video makes it look soooooo simple.
I haven't been that fortunate. Why didn't they just put the little screen in the box?

I do not have a connection with the company, so I really do not know why your parts are not there. I did not purchase anything separately. I have not invested in time in the app as I prefer creating with my PC. If I get some time I will see what I can do about exploring the app.

Interesting. Usually, users have said they prefer the shorter version. I give the actual time of the cut in the video. What is your reason for wanting to watch it all?
