Make his fight on the hill in the early day Constant chill deep inside Shouting gun, on they run through the endless grey On the fight, for they are right, yes, by who's to say? For a hill men would kill, why? They do not know Stiffened wounds test there their pride Men of five, still alive through the raging glow Gone insane from the pain that they surely know For whom the bell tolls Time marches on For whom the bell tolls Take a look to the sky just before you die It is the last time you will Blackened roar massive roar fills the crumbling sky Shattered goal fills his soul with a ruthless cry Stranger now, are his eyes, to this mystery He hears the silence so loud Crack of dawn, all is gone except the will to be Now they see what will be, blinded eyes to see For whom the bell tolls Time marches on For whom the bell tolls
bass actually has a HUGE roll in any music. alot of the times its not heard, but without it alot of songs are very dull. and dave mustaine was actually metallica's guitar player before kirk hammet, he was kicked out due to his drinking problems.
@Magmetal1 it's actually not tuned properly... me and a friend of mine learned it for a cover band that need 2 guitars to fill in for some sick guys, and when we play with the song it's out of tune... just match the E with the song, it's just a little hight than standard, but not by much :)
it was fun to play with my new and first guitar this song lol, i was doing the rythm guitar because i dont know some parts but i've had a lot of fun playing this, idk why, but at least i played the full song
want to learn the song for to long know play some part some not just wondering because want to play only Rhythm no lead if is possible get somewhere backing with vocals and lead guitar only
yeah i didn't realize i just ended with metallicas 0.0 meant to put metallica's guitar player. and i really don't care for bass i really can't hear it my ears are like tuned to drown out everything but the guitar
@Hulk Hogan that comment was 8 years old but, yes they do. In the older albums where they used Mustain riffs like seek and destroy when it was still thrash. Now they sound different because they r out of those riffs.
@Hulk Hogan you obviously are ignorant. Done replying. Early Metallica albums sound identical to Mustain riffs minus Mustain because he left. This is common knowledge among people who can actually play Instruments. I've been playing guitar since I was 11, so please come back when your smarter. Again last reply you can continue to be angry in your corner by yourself.
@Vortiac E# does exist. Half step away from E is F, but this is not used popularly due to how confused beginners get with music theory. Also, if a song is in E#, it means it is in F, but no one says it is in E# because it would get unnecessarily harder to perform.
@Vortiac The sharp only indicates that the note must be raised one semitone. E# means an E must be played one half step above, therefore, F. If we didn't have this kind of nomenclature, it wouldn't be possible to display the C# major scale (or any other scale with more than 6 sharps or flats) properly. C# D# E# F# G# A# B# E# and F are enharmonic notes just like Bb and A#.
The bass gives me goosebumps
Make his fight on the hill in the early day
Constant chill deep inside
Shouting gun, on they run through the endless grey
On the fight, for they are right, yes, by who's to say?
For a hill men would kill, why? They do not know
Stiffened wounds test there their pride
Men of five, still alive through the raging glow
Gone insane from the pain that they surely know
For whom the bell tolls
Time marches on
For whom the bell tolls
Take a look to the sky just before you die
It is the last time you will
Blackened roar massive roar fills the crumbling sky
Shattered goal fills his soul with a ruthless cry
Stranger now, are his eyes, to this mystery
He hears the silence so loud
Crack of dawn, all is gone except the will to be
Now they see what will be, blinded eyes to see

bass isn't im sorry to say :P and its not ironic how metallica and megadeth sound the same because megadeth's singer used to be metallicas

this > actual for whom the bell tolls
You're probably thinking about the bass at the beginning. That is a bass not a guitar.
first time i heard i was shocked when i found out it was a bass
Wrong pitch, too slow.
the pitch is fine...
The original is tuned down a quarter step and who has time for that shit
@Vortiac so F?
