No need to edit in my opinion. Not editing gives your videos a charm and realism that a lot of others don't have. Yourself and your lifestyle are the interesting things, and we get to see everything. Good health and best wishes Shoestring, take care.
Speaking of your edit/no edit I'm sure I'm not alone in enjoying your raw videos, for me i say just let it roll there is always something interesting and as always I will say be safe.
New to your channel today❤️I’ve watched all day some 7 yrs ago how amazingly brave you are to ride the rails. Thank you for sharing and Be safe🙏God bless
I am from Australia I love your videos and the way you tell it, no messing around and told the way it is, sounds like a lot of fun and some risk too, (and torture when you pick a ride with square wheels) Look after yourself and be safe on your journey
@StevePotts...Unedited is pure and real and unscripted. This is what I enjoy to watch also. Also, thank you Shoestring for sharing your adventures with us all, Glod bless.
👟🧶 dont let us pressure you into going when your not ready. We want you around for a loooong time. We'll be here to watch anytime. Go when it's good for you not for us. Probably doing that anyway but just wanted you to know that. Be careful and safe out there! ✌
I really enjoy your stories and adventures. You are a symbol of true freedom among mankind. I wouldn't worry to much about editing. It's like we are there with you..
I enjoy watching the trains fly thru Westfield New York when I visit. Not sure if they stop there often but it is one beautiful place in warm months (Barcelona) Ny. Enjoy your videos bud. Stay safe
Let's respect SHOESTRING's wishes. "Being on the rails, I feel untouchable by anyone; nobody can find me. I am lost where I want to be lost." They're HOBO's wishes. HOBO did what he did, just like he's always done. We're the one's that missed SHOESTRINGS last ride. RIP HOBO!
Hi nice to meet you. Great videos. I like to see the cabooses in Worcester Massachusetts at the end of freight trains. I also like Amtrak high speed Amtrak Acela and MBTA commuter rail trains. Can you tape a freight train with a caboose at the end?
Just found your channel recently and have been binge-watching this past week. Great stuff man! Love the stories and the great shots you get when your rolling. As a teenager I tried to hop a Providence-Worcester train, but my legs were just a little too short, and the train was a little too fast. If I had jumped up, I could tell my legs would've went right into the wheels - NOPE, not today, hahaha! I passed on that one, and never tried again. I know now I would've been hooked just like you, for sure! I used to live and work in that hellhole! :) Not a big Worcester fan. I moved far west of there, and my life has improved 10-fold. Ridiculous cost of living, crappy roads, high crime, high taxes on EVERYTHING ... Nice you found a somewhat quiet spot there - aren't many of them there as you probably know. You must've rolled near me on your way there through the Brookfields. About the only good thing about that city is the WPD isn't around much to hassle you, unless you fire shots, LOL - that's about the only thing that'll get the Calvary coming. They won't even come for a car accident unless someone's hurt. Anyway, hope I see you out there some day when I'm on the road. Subscribed! LOVE this!!
Used to work for CSX out of that yard. Now I work passenger service. Should be easy to catch out of there. The first IM train out usually takes a drag of General manifest on the tail.
Greetings from Worcester MA! Hooked on your adventures. Tell me about the roads here in Worcester! Almost every day I pass under a small RR bridge (CSX line) at Brooks St and West Boylston St and the potholes that are there now WILL eat your car. Anyway, amazing vids, binge watching.
Could have sworn that I’ve ive been on that road route before all the way from buffalo NY on my way to New Bedford MA to see my grandfather. Seems vaguely familiar. Great video Shoestring.
Welcome to my home state! That train that kept going? was probably ended up for Framingham. Alot of GM starts there, gets cuts added in Worcester and W.Springfield on its way to Selkirk. Hope you get to catch out on Pan am! I'm not super familiar with their Worcester schedule but up in Ayer, where NS leaves from, they are somewhat often!
Knowledge of trains ? I was a rail for about 20;years.....this guy doesn’t know shit. He’s a criminal trespassing on government property.Knowledge it trains? Can’t believe how stupid people are.
oh man you've gotta climb up an 8 foot wall to get to higher ground to get to that hop out. if its the one i went to. luckily the bum feed is RIGHT next to it and they have some good grub there. Worcester is an interesting spot.
Hi shoestring, love your insight and the views of our great country,so different from the interstate roadways.if you are ever coming to the conrail yard, north of pittsburgh I'd hook ya up with a care package,or take ya for dinner somewhere.im not far from that yard,or along the pa-oh state line

My buddy lives right on these tracks. The Albany/Worcester line. Trains are always sitting outside his house idling for hours and hours. I’ll keep an eye out for you. I know this area you’re filming here.
Draco Lycus the advertisers pay for the ads on his channel and by listening to them, we help Shoestring out by putting a bit of money in his pocket....just listen to the short ads and let him know we enjoy his videos. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Isn’t New England nice this time of year ? Leaves all turned color. I spent 4-5 years in Westfield. Bout 30 miles of Springfield. Chased some skirt out there.
Love you Brother. I keep your videos playing almost constantly. No even joking I watch you on my second monitor while playing my fishing planet game on my main monitor. And when I go to bed at night I have a playlist of all your vids I keep goin on a loop over and over all night on my laptop. I just love listening to your stories man.. I too was an addict although I drank a lot my main deal was morphine and/or heroin heck even oxy's or tabs. but morphine was my deal, loved it. We all have scars brother. Even those who try to hide them have them. You may think I am crazy, but Jesus is the only answer for us as a human race.
North Baltimore is hobo hell. It’s well fenced and guarded all the way around. Your best bet would be to hide in a locomotive until it leaves if you wind up in there. Also what CSX line runs through PA that you took this trip? I’m only familiar going west to about Brunswick until the tracks hit Ohio.
That skunk story was funny! I love skunks because of how brave they really are. So brave in fact, they get run over by cars with their ass turned toward them. Skunks don't like to spray because even they don't even like the smell.
hi shoestring, i'm retired from trains. spent about a decade tramping around that way. i live in worcester, it would be neat to run into you next time you're through this way. i met a kid named cowboy who said he was road dogs w/ you.

Do you ever use a scanner while riding and also can you make a video showing us how to use the scanner to find out what channels the conductor and yard office are using? How do you know what channels they use to communicate if there are so many different channels?
Much respect to you Shoestring. Love your videos. Do you ever have wild animals come up to you when you're sleeping outside in the middle of the night?
The state os Massachusetts is in lockdown for Covid 19, however, you are still correct. The infrastructure in Worcester is horrible. It is in any Massachusetts city over 100,000 outside of Boston and the inner ring of rt 128, think Springfield, New Bedford, Gardner, Leominster, Lowell, Lawrence, Fall River. Most of Massachusetts is ignored by visitors and residents on Boston.
