Lyrics: You want things your way And I want them mine And now we don't know Just where to draw the line How can love survive If we keep choosin' sides? And who picks up the pieces Every time two fools collide? You lay the blame on me And I, the blame on you But why do we keep finding faults In everything we do? Find more lyrics at ※ Mojim.com And how long can we keep right and wrongs? So cut and dry And who picks up the pieces Every time two fools collide? We can save our love We still have the time Oh, I know there must be a way But we still haven't tried To keep our hearts from breakin' Every time two fools collide To keep our hearts from breakin' Every time two fools collide
That is a beautiful version of that song but no one could replace Dottie West in a duet with Kenny Rogers! R.I.P to both beautiful women, they were gone to soon!
I love Lee Ann's voice...so pure with a vulnerable side to it. But Dottie's voice had much more "grit and gravel" that made harmonizing with Kenny's growl so unique. Love both versions, but gotta go with the original here. RIP Dottie West!
I agree Dottie was the best with Kenny, she had a great voice..RIP Miss Dottie and Congrats on getting in the Country Music Hall of Fame..Its way over due!!

In the absence of Dottie, i'd say Lee Anne is 1st runner Up. Kudos...Great performance

what a girl what a voice its a pity kenny has to force it very nice all the same
He didn’t force it. His health was starting to decline. Give him a break.
Also I listened to the original recording, he sounds almost exactly the same.
