The word 'average' is sometimes pronounced with emphasis on the middle 'er'. Sometimes it is clipped or ignored completely and sounds like 'av-rige'. You will find these variations in both British and American English. (Misterduncan)

The proverb means, do something early or as soon as possible, before it gets worse. The expression refers to mending or fixing something. One stitch now will save you from doing nine later. (Misterduncan)

@raularzuaga Using tense to stress something...such as time. When something happened. You emphasise the moment when something happened. Past tense, Present tense, Future tense. All these stress when something occurred, is occurring or will occur.

Thanks misterduncan,.. To be a bit philosophical, I would add the following :-). However, after watching ur video, I think time moves backward, as a certain future moment comes closer and closer to us, and goes through the Now to the Past, future comes closer and past goes farther and farther. Therefore, WE move forward - from birth to death, and the faster we live, through being all the time in hurry and only to live to attain our, unlimited in number, goals, the more we speed up the passing of the time; whereas if we live slower, by limiting our goals - living with less stress - and taking our time, the time will pass slower too. The latter suggests that at its limit, when we slow down the passing of the time, we can stop the time, which some call it timelessness, that is: when we live only in the NOW..... :-) of course the question will be if to be in that state is feasible. But even if not feasible, it s worthwhile to come as close to it as possible for us :-)
