I am an OS!! you should look up all of the different type of rates and their advancement rates,schooling, sea/shore rotation & etc so you really know what your signing up for. If you need any help you can dm on instagram @ohdatsgianna or you can reach out to a local recruiter to help. Ask as many questions as you can before signing anything! Dont let anyone pick your job for you!

Of course! You have liberty until 2200 everyday but if you want to stay overnight you would have to put in a special request
Do you have your own room at your A school or do you have roommates?
In Great Lakes I had 4 other roommates! It all depends on what command you go to.

Most likely yes! You have to have some type of training before they send you out to the fleet. But some a-schools are 2 weeks long, others are even 6 months. Just depends on the rate

@@lifeasgii I know I’ll be going to A school in Florida but at your A school in “great mistakes”, do they allow you to drive a car on base? And do they allow offbase liberty on the weekends?
@@lablabdog Ouu okay you’re in Aviation ? And unfortunately you cannot have cars on base unless you have a special chit & yes you can have off base liberty anytime just as long as you’re back by a certain time. if you want to stay overnight you would have to fill out a special chit as well.
@@lifeasgii I am not in aviation, I’m in IT. I had to get a waiver cuz I’m a little nearsighted so I’m DQ’d from most of the aviation rates
