Where did you find that store that sells mate almost in every corner? I'm from Buenos Aires, and I have travelled along my country and Uruguay and I didn´t hear about it, some bars can offer you mate but not in almost every corner nor with the Starbucks style. You can find mate mostly in Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and maybe in some points in the south of Brazil, but I haven't see it in other countries of South America. Anyway, thanks for sharing information of our great and beloved drink. I hope some more people around the world could enjoy it like we do.
Hello Cynthia, I'm sorry, I was speaking about Reido Mate in Brazil websitewww.reidomate.com.br/ . While Argentina also shares passion for Mate, our organic Mate is exclusively sourced from our Brazilian partners. We are not associated with Reido Mate-however this is a very popular Mate store--that is very popular in Brazil--very tasty menu. I was referring to Starbucks as a similar concept to Reido Mate. I hope this helps, and thank you for taking interest in Yerba Mate, and our company.
Cynthia... yo soy de Rosario y acá, en cualquier bar podés tomarte un mate cocido... (mate en bombilla no, y me pregunto porqué, cuál será el inconveniente, ahora que aparecieron las bombillas descartables...)
+Cynthia Freigeist I wonder exactly the same thing! Quiza el tarado estuvo en las estaciones de serivicio de Uruguay donde te llenan gratis el termo, con agua caliente! ja ja ja!!!
Ben, did you see anything positive about what she's doing like . . . trying to connect people with the healing power of Yerba Mate? Or did your narrow pea-brain only have the capacity to hone in on something that really is neither here nor there when it boils down to it? Celebrate the fact that the woman did a service to humanity by making a video about Yerba Mate in the first place.
Floyd Barber Thank you Floyd for the comment. We appreciate your support. HQO is the largest importer of organic ingredients in North America and we simply want to spread our knowledge of the various countries we work with. We appreciate your support of organics!
@@vinny8256 There's a debate between Uruguay and Argentina from where the mate was originated from. None of this countries has or had a rule about talking while drinking mate..in any case is the opposite of that.
@@Ryperz518 My friend..im "uruguayo" and drink mate since 50 years ago.Believeme,.there is not such debate.Uruguayans know that mate came fron guarani lands ,Paraguay.is not our drink even when we are the number one mate drinkers per capita in the world..But if you want,We can debate about that drinking a mate.
@@MateyGardelOriental Hi friend! Nobody is debating about where the mate came from. We are talking about that supposed rule that it states that u can't speak while drinking mate. There's no such a rule..never existed and it never will. Mate is all about talking and sharing.
Opposite. Immigrants from Syria, Palestine, Lebanon who went to Uruguay and Argentina developed a taste for it. When they returned to their homelands they took it with them.
Thank-you for this simple explanation. This was exactly what I wanted to know before buying some Yerba Mate.
Thanks for spreading the word of yerba mate!!
I know this is an old video, but as a Brazilian from the southest, that has parents, that drink mate 🧉 a lot. It's a great informative video.
Very nice...thanks for explaining the difference.
I love a good yerba
Coffee doesn't increase insulin levels, what you put into does.
Right - coffee could actually be protective from diabetes, per the research

+Floyd Barber Just because she doesn't know about the islands of South America doesn't mean she's not helping people learn about mate. ;)
+ben walton He does too, which is worse, because he went there, that is what he says!!!
she probably didn't want to get into the futile discussion about which country it originated from
I couldn’t find Yerba mate in your website to buy it

No that’s false
It’s the exact opposite
