Thats exactly what this song is. My choir is doing this song. Description from the sheet music: Tjak!. (CME Building Bridges). By Stephen Hatfield. Tjak! has been inspired by a Balinese musical ceremony long known to world music fans as Ketjak, or The Monkey Chant. Is has adopted many aspects of the Balinese music, including much of the timbre and texture of the music. Enjoy this very unique piece of literature not usually associated with the context of traditional choir repertoire!
i remember doing this song in my sophomore year in high school. so i searched Czech. realized i spelled it wrong. this is amazing. and knowing that this is a difficult song to do. i give out some mad props for this performance.
This is really good. My favorite part is when everyone is singing nasally. The concert choir, that I am a part of, at the high school I attend is thinking bout doing this piece for state assessment.

Very eclectic, but one of my favorites so far. Keep up the good work!

The song is supposed to mimic the chatter of monkeys as they charge onto the field to assist in battle.
