      @@campbellpaul i've noticed this for years that once the 27.5 and up wheels were being made, companies have shifted their focus on making those wheels. Which makes sense too because why would a company still invest on making "old" size rims, when they can invest their time and money on whats new and better. Even before the pandemic happened, i saw more 27.5 stuff than 26.

      Yep, the geometry is great but I found the components lacking. The 2021 San Quentin 3 seems to be better, but just watch out for the teeth on the crank spindle cracking as I had a similar issue with mine.

    • @xx-----------xx873
      @xx-----------xx873 3 года назад

      It has great geometry, but the SQ1 has a QR rear end and a coil fork, making it useless for cost effective upgrades.

    #GMBNTech Starting with the obvious, I know nothing about big hits. With that out of the way what is the point of having a full suspension bike if both shocks are maxed out and rebound as slow as possible? Wanting a firm bike wouldn't you go with a hard tail/dirt jump bike?

    • @xx-----------xx873
      @xx-----------xx873 3 года назад +1

      There is still some give in it, plus a rigid fork doesn't look cool / would hurt badly on an overjump. Having the rear shock solid is great for this type of riding, as you don't want it taking away too much energy from your movements and it will get the wheel out of the way and not send you over the bars if you case.
