This has been one of the best product reviews recently, just because the shoe company was transparent enough to send NW the ACTUAL components/tech features! Can we see Nike or Adidas ever doing that?
To other brands credit, they do have the components out on display during press events. We film the components when they’re out for view. We just don’t get to keep them.
I used to get in trouble cus i would peel back layers of materials of shoes I outgrew cus i was curious. Its awesome to see the layers and the use of technology in a sneaker. I love this channel

Shoutout to Aaron Gordon..Yay Areaaaaaa!!! The shoe is super intriguing and I’m curious to see how everything works together. Love that they sent over the segmented tooling to showcase everything like the old days back in the 80s and 90s. Really interesting that they are releasing two versions of the shoe too. Side note, NICE subliminal plug for those “Just Wing It” Sweat pants!!!!! INCEPTION!!!!!!!!! 🤣🤓💯🔥❤️🌶

Yo Chris you’ve responded to me before but just a quick reminder/thank you for being a “weirdo” about tech haha... I’ve been studying product design at the University of Oregon for the past 3 years and a lot of the stuff I’ve learned has been through your videos (I’ve been watching since the Kobe 7 vid which was middle school for me) with all your knowledge and wisdom... now it’s crazy cause I’ve met in person with Wilson Smith the designer of the Air More Uptempo and Agassi line as well as Tinker and other designers and it’s crazy to see how far I’ve come and how close I am to designing myself will be sure to send stuff your way once I get a chance to work with a brand or even start my own stuff with my colleagues

I worked at a sneaker store in the 90's that had a special Nike license and we would get folders with the breakdown of every single Nike model from the Airmax to the Jordan 6. Nike would even send stools and you would sit on an air sole. I even had the keychain you talked about 😂. Forgot all about that! I kept it untill a few years ago and then gave it to a friend who is a big Airmax collector.
These are pretty. Like, real pretty. Also, I love the tech discussions... especially on shoes like this, that I don’t know about. I know what zoom air is... I’m familiar with boost... this new stuff is so fun to get into.
And yeah, the Skechers performance stuff is legit man. Mrs Wing needs to test it for the channel!

For me, this is your best video brother! I actually enjoy learning and it’s satisfying to know what I’m paying my hard earned money for. Especially when someone is a guy like me who has 3 kids and a nagging wife, you just show her the video to justify your choice in opportunity cost to make the purchase choice and she’ll be like, “oh, ok.”
