One of my favorites is slipping the ankona way back as the tide goes out and fish the holes. Caught some big reds that way and no sharks eating them on release! Win win
Looks like I would be wasting my time fishing during the day while the moon phase is full or New moon because fish gorge themselves at night. Outgoing tide in afternoon to low tide may be more effective overall because they are approaching hunger later its like the feeding times may be reversed a bit then they gorge again at night...what are your thoughts on this?
How soon before you do another catch and cook video? Awesome video as always Brent. Will you be heading up to the Skyway Bridge anytime soon? As always have a great week sir and looking forward to the next video.
My buddy and I fish the exact same areas as you... using Pretty much the same baits/ lures... with no luck... Do you do charter trips?? How much would it cost to take us out and show us what were doing wrong??
Not to take any charter bizz Matt, but you're not doin' anything wrong yo. You think these guys catch fish like that all day nonstop? They have bad days too. Put more hooks in the water!
Oh trust me, there are PLENTY of days where we go out and don’t catch nearly enough to make a video out of it. And I do not run charters unfortunately, but if you are looking for a local charter to help you learn out on the water I could recommend you some guys that I know and trust
I wish there were underwater maps for my areas to find pockets etc at low tides and high tides.
Nice work guys. Definitely some pretty fish caught!
Thanks! 👍
Agreed on Penn Battles. Great reels to have a collection of.

I'll plan to do a catch and cook in the next couple weeks. And I didn't have plans to hit the skyway soon, but I could change that

They have bad days too. It's just that those days aren't published as videos. Keep on keepin on!

Was taking a kayak there out of the question?
Not really, you definitely could have kayaked there if you wanted and then walked the kayak at the super skinny parts
