I am so sorry for your loss, I understand your pain. I lost my husband almost 23 years ago, I was 8 and half months pregnant with our second child. Our first born was 2 and half years old . God was there, and still is every step of the way. Hang in there . Blessings.

In past I was operated with Lung Cancer and I thought I am going to die, what I did I was crying for 🙏 prayer of mercy to our God, so before went for operation I asked the blessings from our local priest before our church wedding. Then afterwards I was asked by the specialist to followed up on my local Hospital and I was cured. My Lung cancer was cured. I was very thankfully for the graceful to the surgeon and the staff . Highly burnt-out with a job that cuts my hours and pays very little. Attending church and reading my bible has helped me to cope. The priest himself even tries to join in and, before Mass has ended, sits in his vestments playing a guitar and singing his own composition in a similar style. There is a deep-seated vulgarity at the heart of Catholic worship, and I don't see much hope for the Faith until worship begins to glorify God rather than the priest and other performers - for that is all they are in many places today.

I have fallen in love with The Traditional Latin Mass and The Gregorian Chants. I have been Catholic my whole life. I did not grow up in a Catholic family. I demanded to be baptized in The Catholic Church when I was 4 / four years old. I did my Confirmation as a teenager. Unfortunately I was not taught the true teachings of my beloved faith. I recently learned about the unfiltered truth of the Church. Deo gratias.
Grew up in the 60’s, attended Catholic Elementary School. As School children we learned the Latin Music for the Requiem Masses & were dismissed from class to walk over to the church for any funerals. We loved doing that because even as very young children we thought the music was so beautiful. Really miss those days. 😢

I have been trying to help my 12 year old cat used to a younger cat that we adopted 5 weeks ago. I played this music tonight and for the first time she was able to relax in full view of the little cat without anxiety, and is now sleeping peacefully with this track on repeat. For whatever reason it's been a huge breakthrough for us.
I am 81 years old and listening to this with joy in my heart. I was in Catholic boarding school with Presentation Sisters and then Teacher Training college with Sisters of Charity. I was in the Schola and I still remember all the words and the wonderful melodies and intonation. I am blessed also that I understand the Latin after such exposure to it. It's now, I realise what a beautiful education I had. Thank you Lord God. Amen.

It was the time when my son entered as postulant in this monastery of the Benedictines. It is a heavenly experience. The place is so peaceful and full of natures beauty. Hi Sara, I pray for your healing! God definitely heals... I still didn't finish my journey but doctors said the chemo wouldn't work as expected but we should still try. I prayed to God and guess what? The tumor was gone before even I completed the chemo routine. Doctors were also surprised but pleased:) I think exactly like you. I was distant to God before. With this illness, God pulled me closer and saved me from even greater sorrows. I am grateful for everything God has given. God bless you.

In past I was operated with Lung Cancer and I thought I am going to die, what I did I was crying for 🙏 prayer of mercy to our God, so before went for operation I asked the blessings from our local priest before our church wedding. Then afterwards I was asked by the specialist to followed up on my local Hospital and I was cured. My Lung cancer was cured. I was very thankfully for the graceful to the surgeon and the staff . I am going through a phase of disassociation. Highly burnt-out with a job that cuts my hours and pays very little. Attending church and reading my bible has helped me to cope. It fills me with joy. 😊

This is what Vatican II wanted to encourage. Instead, over half a century later, I go to a parish church in the UK and hear the noise of guitars and songs in a 'country and western' style. The priest himself even tries to join in and, before Mass has ended, sits in his vestments playing a guitar and singing his own composition in a similar style. There is a deep-seated vulgarity at the heart of Catholic worship, and I don't see much hope for the Faith until worship begins to glorify God rather than the priest and other performers - for that is all they are in many places today.
Try to find a Latin Mass: SSPX, FSSP, ICKSP. See Latin Mass Society to find one.

@@Daughter_OfTheEarthsi yo volví a la iglesia hace tres años recibí un llamado una voz me decía tenés que volver a la iglesia todas las mañanas hasta que fui y me encontré con el Padre que yo fui molaguillo de niño y me dió la bendición de ahí pase meses preparando mi confesión y cuando me confesé sentí el amor de Cristo caí de rodillas y llore mucho luego rece dos rosarios uno a Fátima y otro en la catedral de ahí empecé a ir a misa todos los días y rezar el Rosario antes de misa y hasta sentí el perfume hoy convencido de María que ella ayuda mucho pero al igual que tú me pasa lo mismo de repente me cuesta rezar me freno pienso que es una lucha día a día bendiciones para ti desde Uruguay 🇺🇾🙏💙 hermano en Cristo

I have fallen in love with The Traditional Latin Mass and The Gregorian Chants. I have been Catholic my whole life. I did not grow up in a Catholic family. I demanded to be baptized in The Catholic Church when I was 4 / four years old. I did my Confirmation as a teenager. Unfortunately I was not taught the true teachings of my beloved faith. I recently learned about the unfiltered truth of the Church. Deo gratias.

Grew up in the 60’s, attended Catholic Elementary School. As School children we learned the Latin Music for the Requiem Masses & were dismissed from class to walk over to the church for any funerals. We loved doing that because even as very young children we thought the music was so beautiful. Really miss those days. 😢
Ditto for me. Those requiem masses and singing them is my first memory of Gregorian chant. I have been trying to help my 12 year old cat used to a younger cat that we adopted 5 weeks ago. I played this music tonight and for the first time she was able to relax in full view of the little cat without anxiety, and is now sleeping peacefully with this track on repeat. For whatever reason it's been a huge breakthrough for us.
I am 81 years old and listening to this with joy in my heart.
I was in Catholic boarding school with Presentation Sisters and then Teacher Training college with Sisters of Charity. I was in the Schola and I still remember all the words and the wonderful melodies and intonation. I am blessed also that I understand the Latin after such exposure to it. It's now, I realise what a beautiful education I had. Thank you Lord God. Amen.

I and my whole family have joined in the singing of these hymns when we were invited to be with the monks in their early morning and evening prayers in the monastery church. It was the time when my son entered as postulant in this monastery of the Benedictines. It is a heavenly experience. The place is so peaceful and full of natures beauty. I'm Praying for my sons success in these call to serve God the almighty.

Hi Sara, I pray for your healing! God definitely heals... I still didn't finish my journey but doctors said the chemo wouldn't work as expected but we should still try. I prayed to God and guess what? The tumor was gone before even I completed the chemo routine. Doctors were also surprised but pleased:)
I think exactly like you. I was distant to God before. With this illness, God pulled me closer and saved me from even greater sorrows. I am grateful for everything God has given. God bless you.
