So, I walk in the house, totally engrossed, tripped over my cat, launched the bag of groceries down the hallway and landed flat on my butt. WOOT!! Everyone survived, including the cat. Yup this weather is crazy in Texas this year. On my way to work today I actually had to turn on my AC!!! It is wild driving w my air conditioning on while passing by huge snow banks that still haven't melted. Got home late night and there is STILL some ice and snow on the roads and around my house!
Beautiful look!!!! I tend to go for this look more of weekends, when I'm out running around doing errands, getting groceries and whatever else I need done. I always use my Hourglass Ghost pallet. I don't particularly like the powders on my face, so I will use the two powders on my lid and brow bone, and use the contour/bronzer in my crease. I only use a brush for the crease, plop a little of each powder onto the lid and brow bone, MAYBE a little tight liner on my upper lids as well and mascara and done!!! Soooo easy!!!! I will even get the occasional compliment about how glowy my look is!!!! I know you struggle to like your ghost pallet...this might be a way to use it ;) Great video!!!!!
Missha BB Cream is the best!!! I add a drop of moisturizer and a bit of either Mac’s Strobe Cream or CT’s Flawless Filter to it before I apply...whoa, it’s gorgeous!!

I pulled the trigger and purchased the Elf Wow Brow. Prior to buying it my brow routine was just brushing through some of the Maybelline's clear brow gel. Because I don't need a lot of attention paid to my brows I've always been afraid of using a product like Elf's or even just a brow pencil but after using it I was so surprised as to how well it worked for me. I had to go in lightly with it but I did notice a difference between the use of the two. Thanks for sharing that product Mandy. Had I not seen you use it I would have never picked it up... 😉

I bet you would like the maybelline sky high for a look like this. It definitely lengthens but it doesn’t volume eyes. In my review I mentioned that the it cosmetics superhero is always my favorite because it does both but for simpler look I think the sky high is going to work well. It didn’t flake on me at all or smudge! Love this look!
The Maybelline Sky High is amazing. Although I will say it took me a few tries before I fell in love with it. It reminds of of the Thrive mascara which I also love.
I’m going to try this look tomorrow Mandy!! Today I went for the full monty, foundation, eyeshadow, bronzer, blush AND false lashes 🙄 I realized it was a bit OTT when I went out for a three mile run. This was completely relevant for me. 🙂 I have been doing a little bit of this outside volunteer work and have been wanting a simple makeup routine that won’t look horrendous at the end of the day when I take off my mask. Thank you. I love that Cali face palette. It has a nice tone and is easy to use.
I have tried every kind of brush and blender out there and I just think my makeup looks so much better when I use my fingers. Doesn’t matter if it’s tinted moisturizer, bb, or even foundation. Just looks so much more natural.
I used to love a more Fuller coverage matte foundation and now as I'm getting older and my skin has been changing I am so into a more light medium glowy natural skin Foundation. My go-to right now is the Revlon candid glow! It is amazing and comes in multiple shades.

I wouldn't waste your money on the Maybelline Sky High mascara. I did and was very disappointed. I like the IT Superhero (thanks to you!), the Bare Minerals Lashtopia, or the Lash Paradise.

So similar to the Missha but supposed to be more skin friendly with the ingredients-Jessica B just did a side by side test -I think you would LOVE it!!! $10 on Amazon-also Korean so same type of shade selection

When I do my outer corners like that my bottom lashes stick to my top lashes in the very outer corner does that happen to anyone else? I’ve opted to not focus much product out there anymore but I miss doing my “corners catty” 😝
Yes, it happens to me too. Thing is I'm not trying to go for that look though, lol. My lashes are long, thick and full so I have to be very careful when applying mascara. The only one that seems to work for me is the Maybelline great lash. I know people don't like it but it's the one I always go back to after trying all of those hyped up mascaras... 🤷♀️
As a teen I spent two hours doing a natural look ( covering severe acne etc)...mother got angry that I didn't put on make up for a special occasion! Lol
