This is very well prepared high-quality animation! Your story is very inspiring. I am not such brave to start new life in different country alone. You probably didn't have a lot of money, and fighted against polish difficult launguage (for example "Brzęczyszczykiewicz" or "Stół z powyłamywanymi nogami"), which is hard to pronounce for many polish native speakers. I as Pole who were born here I also don't recommend people who lived in western countries to start living here. Poland is much more friendly now that few years ago but still isn't better place to live. We earn not too much, prices are high and there is no special or intresting places to visit. Weather are also hard, especially for Africans who aren't prepared for winter. I feel proud that You think that Poland is still intresting but be realist - it's no dream country. This is some truth in these stereotypes. Some Poles don't like black people especially in small villages. It's shame, but in my family I know 2 person who wouldn't be happy see You in city. Fortunately I have never seen any attack against black people (during my 25 years in Poland). Second truth information was about vodka - I have sometimes big problems casue of it becuase I am probably only one Pole who don't drink alcohol (few times during last 7-8 years). As student I met the same situations about renting room. Some people are "business sharks" so they want to rent old, devastated and small flat for students or foreigners - no matter what country/city You are coming from (no matter race, I and all my Cousins also experienced it). Once we were such angry about looking for flat in Gdansk that we said one of these businessman "people are not rat to live in such small room" (it was small room with 2 beds, size about 6-8 meters square) I feel sad that You decided to leave Poland but I understand You. Hope You are well and You have good memories with Poland.
i went to bydgoszcz for work once, as a Latino i hated the city and people because i always felt people staring at me and making a deal of me being around.
Well, you’re a tough cookie. That’s good that you managed to see your stay in Bydgoszcz as a positive experience. Did you make a connection with any of the locals? How come you decided to leave?
Thank you for sharing your experiences. I look forward to seeing more of your videos!
Welcome to my hometown..... Greetings from Uganda 🇺🇬

Yes, i made a lot of friends with the locals there. I felt the need to change cities and needed a new environment.
Why do you make such a drama out of it? You speak about Poland like it's a place in a different universe?
