It's sad that taile bhaneko jasto Hawa conspiracy theory is taken as a fact in this country. No wonder this country is a failed state because of educated gawars like you.
India had no diplomatic relations with the Soviet union at the time. The Soviet union under Stalin was very cautious of past British colonies including puppet states like Nepal. It thought that a country like Nepal being a part of the UN, they'll vote against the Soviet union and side with the Americans. Hence, the Soviet union vetoed the UN membership of Nepal. Only after Stalin died, the new government of the Soviet union mended their ways, and built relations with India and other third world countries.
Just know that Nepal is the way it is because of people like you.

Geopolitics is really a complicated but somewhat interesting topic that involves everything and is included in everything. And still, countries like Nepal can't remain outside of the circle. Nepal definitely needs to work on it's internal issues so that it's image in global stage gets improved. Nepal needs to focus on non-aligned movement, and use diplomacy prior to the interests of it's people. For real, we need a stable government that's able to secure the country and it's interests. For a country to be respectable, it's leader must be respectable too.
Anyways, amazing video about history not so discussed about in schools. Keep bringing untold facts like these among Nepalese audiences, cause there's a lot people need to know.
