Why is 30 fps a thing? 25% of console gamers choose it over 60. I am one of them. Nobody has managed to explain to me why 60 is better. Things are just sharper, more detailed, more immersive, and more accurate to the artist intent. It even seems to pop more. FPS isn't like resolution where it gets worse looking as size of the screen goes up. Saying it's okay for mobile means it's okay for TV.
