I’ve been here waiting for the game to finally be done when I was 8 I’m nearly 20 now honestly comparing the isle to other indie games it’s been in development for 10 years now a full decade of development and they recently restarted a entirely new version of the game with evrima and haven’t even released one tenth of the roster and the behavior of the devs to criticism I get development takes time but honestly the fact in my opinion that a game like Path of Titans has land/sky/water creatures, AI, and modding while being less than half as old as the Isle really says something about the behind the scenes of development
@@ConnioJudahI’m going to be surprised if they finish this game period it’s already been over a decade of development and they haven’t even finished like half of the game yet and to me it’s like if this was any other game would the Development Takes Time people would be saying the same thing if a random indie game like Helldivers was taking the time to develop as long as the Isle is
@@danthethomasfan2256 From what I can remember if the game is in development you don't need to pay fees to steam, correct me if I'm wrong, so yeah it's a save of the money for them 😂 If they don't do something about it soon they're just gonna lose more and more fanbase, nowadays servers in evrima are pretty damn empty comparing to b4, ppl need a nasa computer to even play the game, + the lack of new playables and roster balance, the anti cheat doesn't work at all
They work on 1000 things at the same time. Instead of focusing on couple features and keep implementing them so we dont have to wait half a year for 1 dino
Eventually though the pace has to get faster, right? They have to build the core mechanics first, and that is slow, but after they have that done I would expect at least 5 dinos a year. AT LEAST.
@@alpha7even913 forgot about that damn. well it wouldnt have crashed if he focused on allo instead of rex lol but can rex and meia atleast come together? hopefully this dev blog would give us more info

Go play Path of Titans. It has none of those issues even on a full server with 40 ai creatures running around your feet and 30 other dinos battling all around you. Game still runs buttery smooth with zero desync or broken hitboxes.
@@kenshinhimura9387 Path has a lot of broken hit boxes especially after the most recent update. Cause last I checked Bar's tail isn't meant to hit you through its face and send you to space or melt your health in the case or tail slam. Don't forget about how bad the lag and ping are for switch/last gen Xbox or PlayStation/mobile people go through. (My 7 year old xbox can hardly handle entering creator on officials )
There is a lot I hope for this upcoming year. I think a major issue is the de-sync and hitboxes especially with pounce oriented dinos. I would love to see them work on less things such as 100 different things at once and instead focus on a few and pump out content quicker. Obviously more dinos, and some balancing and expanding on certain dinos, for example Troodon pounce using less stamina when it's it main source of damage... Burrowing, etc
@ucjgaming Completely agree, I understand they are a small team but man do they make some questionable choices that I don't get at times. Still love the game though...
In legacy i was an allo main but to be honest.. no what we need right now is not a single new playable. we need the game mechanics to work and a stable version of the game. Better performance and better servers. Latency and bad performance will ruin your experience even if you play your favorite dino.
@s.snomis9593 I would suggest playing in unofficials as they are much better than officials. For FPS and ping, and players. That's of course if you don't already. And apart from that yes they should optimise the game first, but that should have also been done years ago
@jack-b7s Probably because it's a better selling point. Even tho Allo is almost as popular. But in games terms it makes no sense to have a Rex before an Allo
Nice video I swear the isle would be so much bigger if only the devs could optimize the game. Cuz whats the point in bringing new dinos and features when half of the playerbase is struggling with the graphics and lagging whenever near hotspots etc. Other than that I'd love to get more water action therefore excited for astro and ofc allo aswell.
@@Chillit미켈 Yeah very true, that's also what I meant with Rex and trike coming with bad optimization would just backfire even more. I don't get why the game hasn't been optimized by now
I usually run 160-180 fps normally and 130 at the lowest. You would have to have a pretty low end pc to not be able to hit at least 60 fps with appropriate settings
@@grinicide I think the problem is more that only high ends can play whilst the low to medium end players can't play smoothly, which shouldn't be the case really, if u want the isle to be immersive and future dinos to get the maximum potential etc.
Burrowing will probs take longer since their idea with burrowing now is to actually kinda make it like a way to terraform under the ground and create some mini rooms underground
@@gabrielmella6001 That would be really cool! But again it's been years and years since they started working on it so I don't know what's taking them so long 😞
It's hilarious to me that these incompetent devs can't even do what has already been done way back during the PS2 era with Red Faction 1. That game had the same system where you could mine tunnels and caves anywhere on the map by using explosives. It worked flawlessly in online multiplayer yet The isle devs 20 years later with far better game engine can't seem to figure it out.
@kenshinhimura9387 Yeah that's what I'm saying often, there are many games that have far more and work far better with similar dev team sizes, some smaller even
I hope Austro is somewhere between Beipi and Herra with high aquatic agility and quick bursts of speed but not enough to safely travel in water for long distances.
About 10 more dinosaurs 5 carnivores and 5 herbivores , 2 apex’s each to counter each other . 2 medium size each also built to counter each other and then something small and fun. Another flyer as well would be nice

I think it would be cool if the devs implimemted environmemtal events like maybe earthquake tremors that happen randomly around the map. Maybe put a volcano on gateway with eerie smoke stacks or lava flows.
@ucjgaming a simple tremor with like rocks rolling down cliff sides randomly is perfect. Please no tornados. Floods would be good for Deino and may challange players who dont expect a deino to be there.
-less vegetation, less forests and more biomes -dilo needs to be more agile in terms of turn radius -ia working good (hope some time) -stats balance -nesting improvements (very important cause it have to be a main mechanic to use) -elders -more dinos -optimization(hope with less vegetation) -finishing mechanics for dinos that are already in the game that have ben told like years ago(dryo burrow, deino vertical attack, hypsi climbing, etc ...)
Seriously the fact that this game has so many consistent problems makes you wonder how the developers never listen to their own fans feedback and fair criticism like Deino with its vertical attack like shouldn’t it have had this when it released alongside dryo being able to burrow like wouldn’t it make more sense to work on these mechanics and get them dealt with so you can move on to the next thing to me it doesn’t make sense to leave a mechanic to just be a little future implement when you have all this other stuff to add and work on like just do it now and tweak any problems and move on
@@javiervaliente3884 Absolutely! They should be completing each task instead of half way. Less vegetation would help, and more optimization! I would also love to see actual bioms and not just thrown into a dome like they plan to do. Red wood forests would be great and easy to transition from a jungle themed area like swamps. And perhaps a desert in the middle of the map. With cave systems
They need to fix a lot of stuff before they add anymore in my opinion, like they definitely need to work on optimization, taking care of DDOSERS and hackers which still hasn't been taken care of and still gives a lot of people issues.
They 100% need to work on optimizing the game! It really makes me sad, they have such a great game and I really love it. They have so many glitches and crashes that they shouldn’t. I am not a programmer or developer but I do run a multimillion dollar business. One thing that I can tell you, you absolutely should be doing from a business standpoint is focus on finishing one thing at a time, in order of importance. From this games standpoint, the most important aspect is making something that people enjoy playing. They enjoy playing the game with the dinos that you have right now they will be around when the new dinos come out what you don’t want is losing players to competition because competitions games run better. And I say all of this with love because I do genuinely love the game and believe it has a future if certain things are done correctly on the business and management side.
@@yanceymcdonald6017 Management is everything for sure. @@lareina602 I wouldn't say they are adding that many dinos tho, they have mainly focused on mechanics since releasing evrima anyway. What they need to do is optimize the game, and add dinos after as we have already got all the core mechanics. The other mechanics can wait as they are not vital but more for a better experience, and that better experience only works if we have an optimized game first, and then playbles
I REALLY wish you were right about the Allo. The game could use Allosaurus to help bring the ecosystem into a better balance. Sure, rex will help provide a counter to the murder blocks of armored herbivores, but having more mid tiers to help fight the other mid tiers will be a better solution since Apex like rex are gonna need a lot of time to build up to a place where they can actually threaten a herd of armored herbivores, and that will make them rare and thus a bad solution on their own in the long term.
@@Clonetrooper8983 Absolutely correct, that's exactly what I'm trying to say when comparing Rex and Allo, and why Allo is a better choice! Yeah unfortunately we didn't get it when I hoped for, and I'm really not sure now on when we will get Allo 🥹

Humans would be fun as long as they get Jeeps, Camper vans and motorbikes (maybe even a little bird chopper). But hunting Dinos and capturing them for XP would be soooooo cool.
They need painful growth apexes. Dino focused mutagens Burrows Merge nocturnal and night vision mutagen and make it passive for nocturnal carnivores And daytime photosynthetic mutations merged and made passive to daytime dinos
if they worked on maybe 2-3 projects at a time it would be fine, even if they only dropped one at a time. trex and trike duel release is kinda not needed, steggo *should* be able to fight back enough to gain some sort of need to strategize. I wont be mad if they wait for trike though. However after rex & trike they need to focus on the current state of evrima.
Allo is not absolutely necessary. That's because Dibble currently has a natural predator. Dilo. While not being able to 1v1 a Dibble, Dilos are very strong and not to be underestimated. So I think getting Rex earlier is better to balance Stego. Signed, a Dibble player
@@stephanwagner6189 I mean in that respect, you may as well include Omni and Cerato. It also comes down to the player of course. Dilo is really good, even at taking down a Stego if done right. But Allo is a more clear way to balance a Diablo, as they would both be tough opponents for each other. Singed by a donkey player.

Dang you got any clips on here for me to see I don’t even say that sarcastically because this sounds so in character for him and the game’s development history
The big issue with their development is that they spend half the year working on playables and features, but they get it wrong and end up having to take six steps back and fix stuff they didn't implement properly. Most of their dev time is fixing or redoing features that were supposed to be "finished". Deino was added without vertical lunge, dryo without burrowing, and hypsi without climbing. These are feature incomplete animals that should not have been added into the game until they were done. Especially dryo and hypsi who dont have people playing them a whole lot. Not to mention the balance is absolutely atrocious. When they do add new dinos it shakes up the balance even more and often causes certain animals to become unplayable for months until a fix is found. Hell they wasted so much time making spiro, only to completely give up on it and make a new map from scratch that also had major issues at launch. Gateway is better than spiro in some ways but its still not a great map. They have been developing this game way too long and Path of Titans is absolutely killing them when it comes to update quality and quantity. They can get almost 3-5 updates a year in while Afterthought really only gets two major updates a year, and most of the time the entire playerbase sees them in HT so the updates are never really special when they release.
IMO, if they make humas, they need 2 factions. Dino keepers and something like "NGEN." On faction, try to take pictures and help hurt dinosaur along those lines. The other tryst to kill/capture/sell or experiment on the dinos.
@@christopherwells4253 I'm pretty sure that will just come naturally as some players would want to be nicer to Dino's and some would just want to try and kill them

Rework AI from Scratch .... Delete Migration Zones ... Fill Oceans and Forest with life/ai food...this is a great game but devs kills it with bad decisions...Its actually a Starving-Simulator

@@hatzegopteryx_thambema Strange for me it actually is better than before? Everyone seems to be having different experiences with this update, we being pranked
The problem is, that the game is not broken that much, unless they bring new and new features that break. They have serious management problems, they start game from the end. Legacy was popular because it had more dinos. They should bring at least all the dinos that were in legacy and then game will survive. But they keep doing too much focus on things that are not that interesting for people. LEgacy was popular, because it had right atmosphere and right amount of dinos. It even could be little horror like. Now it`s like sims.

Dino rosters separate from the time periods they live in real life mode. Nature already has balance blueprint. Late Jurassic dinos, early & late cretaceous period dinos. So Sauropods can have plenty of space to breath in to their respective time period. But.. it's Isle... It's fantasy Dimension
Seriously how are sauropods going to work in this game like are they going to be apex’s or are they something separate seriously what honestly qualifies as a apex in this game

Come on bro you and me know that the development team wouldn’t take that long they would add some random thing like weathering system or natural disasters or adding caves or something to kill most of the players to avoid overpopulation and everyone complaining and making videos about the terrible changes like how they log into the Isle to play a dinosaur survival game and not get yeeted to death by a cyclone or fall to their death into Dondi’s fat crack over the span of few thousand generations

@@Pica_78 I mean I know exactly what you're saying here, but many of us also play tons of games similar to this with similar Dev team sizes. So we are able to compare. No one is saying it's easy to make a game like this, but you can't deny its behind and the pace of updates is slow, the optimisation is bad. The management is terrible. And what they work on is questionable
@@ucjgaming What they've been working on for the past 4 years is building up the games mechanics, no matter how minor people make them out to be as they'll apply to every playable. What Keith is saying is that many of the people here just want new playable's, not realising that it's not the solution for The Isle's problems, the most prominent issues being replayability which is what the mechanics add to the game. And desync harming player interaction. And no it's not right to compare The Isle to "similar" games. PoT's models (not their designs, that's subjective), their sounds and animations are much worse which is why they can be added faster, that and the games art style also makes the game run better. A similar reasoning applies to BoB that while is just as mechanically in depth looks a lot worse.
@AnAntarcticScotsman I have literally spoken about the optimisation and mechanics in this video as well as in the comments, I'm not saying we just need more playbles and that will be the problem fixed. But all of the core mechanics have been done now for some time. But they keep adding more mechanics in and fine tuning other ones that don't really need it. So we should have more playbles by now, even if it's 2 more, not saying many more. As well as instead of focusing on fixing other mechanics they again add more in, so it literally defeats the point. Fix and work on what needs doing first then move on to the next one. Otherwise we get stuck in what we have been stuck in for about 2 years almost which is more complex mechanics being added and then them needing to fix those as well. So in the end we all have to wait longer now for playbles, complex and new mechanics and core mechanics that haven't been fixed. I'm not one of those kids that is expecting 10 or more new plables by now, I completely understand what needs doing first before we get more, but that should have already been fixed and done by now, that's what I'm trying to say here
@@ucjgaming I understand you that the game feels like it's in a state of limbo but it's better that they focus on adding in the mechanics tuning them along the way and then perfecting them as many will interact with one another like how migrations effect how you gain diet's which is tied with organs/plants that'll effect growth rates which effects balance which is tied to every playable that themselves interact with other mechanics. Personally I don't think it was a good idea for many of the current playables to have been added, I agree that they're behind schedule but only on the mechanical side as if they stuck with Omni and Teno then later introduced Deino, PT, Pachy, Dibble, Dilo and Cera and Beipei. Then the mechanicl side would be done and we'd be on the mass playable stage but that's just me.
Nothing short of going open source with this POS would improve it. The game needs to be half the size of the map size and double the server size to start. After that we can talk about actual other content.
the lack of stability really is a buzzkill , no matter how many exciting new dinos or features are added you are always having your experienced ruined by constant bugs and performance problems , i took some time away and been playing other games and path of titans and it really is an eye opener to just how broken and buggy the isle is , almost anything you try to do will break and bug out 50% or over the time and that is insane , early access and in development or not this many bugs that are extremely common. its been almost 5 years how are such things like simple fodder ai for carnivores STILL not working when they got a dev dedicated to working oh them , its crazy
Right Path of Titans is 4 years old and is going to be 5 next year and it’s already past the isle in aquatic and marine biomes and creatures I mean even Beast of Bermuda has mechanics wise been ahead of the Isle and honestly Ill ask you this if a indie game took as long as the Isle and had the same issues would you be having the same opinion
No not new playable, I want the game mechanics to function well and the game not to be a slog of a walking simulator we briefly had that and then they said “you know what would be a good idea? Significant increase to AI and or server count increasing to 300 to 500 players if the servers could handle it. Cut the map in half, maybe more. increase player count. the current map is unfinished. there are HUGE ecological dead zones with nothing, not even ai. its so bad to play right now im not even bothering. the game doesnt need any dinos right now,it needs to be PLAYABLE. right now its just spawn in,run around for literally hours without seeing any players or ai,and starving to death. When deino first came out the game was peek. oh yeah and the cannibalism shits all over the game as well. Beasts of Bermuda somehow got the map perfect. Every corner of the map has SOMETHING at least.

The Isle doesnt really have any competitors. “Realistic” dino simulators dont exist outside of the Isle
Path of Titans is absolutely ANNIHILATIING Evrima right now in literally every way. Path runs buttery smooth with a full server 100+ players, 30 ai creatures running around your feet while 30 different dino battles are taking place all around you.

We need a theri in there
@@therealmika844 That would be cool once we actually get enough mid tier predators
Good optimization would be enough for me.
What we want - lots of new playables! What we will probably get in 2025: AI insects. Maybe. If you can find them...
if thats the case players should boycott dondi till they add new dinos
3-4 payables in 2025
No not new playable, I want the game mechanics to function well and the game not to be a slog of a walking simulator we briefly had that and then they said “you know what would be a good idea? Dynamic stomachs we should implement that now, while we have mid tiers that struggle with fighting for food already w an apex that in most spots you can’t fight” due to oh you know, it’s an aquatic and everything else that is edible worthwhile is a terrestrial
@@User_1-r6t that be a dream come true. plz let that be true
@@swifttoplay3047 yes that is fine and all but. players want new dinos. so i say add dinos with this stuff

@@masteraltair123 Playing as T rex? You sure you don't mean Legacy? As Evrima has not go a Rex, we've only had a dev surprise us once or twice in horde test
Path of Titans is absolutely ANNIHILATIING Evrima right now in literally every way. Path runs buttery smooth with a full server 100+ players, 30 ai creatures running around your feet while 30 different dino battles are taking place all around you. Game still runs buttery smooth with zero desync, no broken hitboxes and no lag.
Meanwhile in Evrima if you even get within 300 feet of another dino, your FPS magically drops from 140 all the way down to 60 or less. Then you get into combat with only 1 dino and it's a laggy, desync dumpster fire with broken hitboxes.
[LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER]
@@AnAntarcticScotsman You are the one who is incorrect. Player counts don't lie. The Isle is basically dead. Path has tens of thousands of players daily.
@@kenshinhimura9387 And thousands keep up with The Isle for how dead you claim it to be and it's still progressing.
Path panders to a broader audience
Is available on ALL platforms
Has mods
Those 3 things are why PoT has such player counts:
Remove it's piss easy nature = less players
Without mods it gets stale = less players
No crossplay = less players.
PoT's popularity is not because it's better than The Isle, or that it's more detailed or because it develops seemingly faster.
Because it's not, it's purely because of those 3 things.
It would be very nice if The Isle made itself availible on console.

I think that in a generation that peoples are so addicted to short videos such as this one which we`re living, they should make dinos faster to grow
My game keeps crashing
i would be happy enough if they fix the bugs that have been in evrima forever. I'm sick of food being impossible to eat for no reason, food floating in the air, clipping through the floor where you can't interact with it at all, i'm sick of the JANK of trying to eat or grab things. It just refuses to register your inputs half the time and for some reason if you hold E to eat and have to stop, it's like the game needs 2 seconds before it lets you hold E again, you can't stop eating and then immediately continue eating. Oh right and also those parts of lakes where it says hold E to drink water, but then your character doesn't actually drink because it's on a weird slope and can't finish the drinking animation xDDDDDDD you can add all the content you want to the game but if you don't fix the jank it won't make the game that fun.
you are all welcome to PoT :)
@@sorrdiegamed695 No thank you
Bring it to console!!
@@eliaschavez2329 Would be nice, but I don't see that happening with the isle
All we need is mid or top tier carnivore like Rex or Allo. So Stego don’t dominate
Significant increase to AI and or server count increasing to 300 to 500 players if the servers could handle it. Global chat should be on by default , a built in voice chat instead of relying on discord. A built in map instread of relying of 3rd party websites. Maybe some weather effects that force you to move around the map I find most people just stick around the same areas leaving most of the map unused. More players or a smaller map could fix some issues with starvation, and player interaction. I have played 4 hours roaming the map on a 200 player server without seeing a single person.
@@Rockerrobin Yeah it's a harsh environment in the isle. But that's also what the game is meant to be, a survival game ending on the hardcore side. I think the map not being there isn't such a bad thing, as people can learn. Global chat and proximity chat would definitely be a massive boost to the game, I agree on that. And if they ever optimise the game properly then yeah we need tons more ai and more players in each server. So much needs doing but it seems they keep working on things we don't really want/care for, or just simply not really needed for now
I really hope humans are delayed indefinitely, I just wanna grow in an actual prehistoric place. Honestly deleting the structures and just having dinosaurs would be a direct improvement.

Step#1 to making The Isle better. Fire Dondi ASAP!!! Step#2 Fire Kissenkitten. Step #3 hire a competent netcode developer to fix your broken netcode and servers. Step#4 start pumping out mid tier and larger dinos. Step#5 stop adding gimmicky gameplay mechanics that nobody wants, uses or enjoys. Step#6 add player slots just like Path of Titans has. Zero excuses for only allowing 1 dino per server. I could keep going but I think you get the point. Copy all the best things from Path of Titans while adding more dinos to this game.
If you want Path of Titans to have much better Graphics, models, animations and sound design, then ask them to do so.

@@choci. Yeah I'm in the same shoes as you Choci. I'm finding myself playing other games more instead
I think the biggest thing for the isle should be to make the official servers feel like a actual survival game and not a socializing community game I think herbivore are the biggest problem to the game right now because they have nothing to lose because of how overpowered and not having any threats Also the game will never feel fun or exciting because of mix packing as well as mega packing. You might be thriving and then all of a sudden you die to a carno, dilo, dibble… if the devs don’t fix or find a way to stop that an official servers I don’t think adding any Dino’s are gonna fix, revive the isle they will always hit that wall. As a player that always spends 5 hours growing and to die to something so broken and unreal kills the want and need to want to play or regrow
@@JesusGFitness The thing is at the moment the only thing to stop this is admins and there are no admins on official servers. Plus Dondi himself said a while ago that he doesn't mind mix packing so unfortunately I doubt there will be anything that they will add that would make it hard or impossible to mix pack. Literally only unofficials have the admins that help stop this, if they have that rule that is

What would make the game better has nothing to do with new dinos and everything to do with better game design. The game is just not fun to play in its current state. The patrol/migration zone crap and broken AI turning the game into a starvation simulator and poor performance are what keeps it from getting any bigger.
@@flyingsaucer2986 Yeah there seems to be more things added that just break the game more than help it progress
@@Vampshroom420 Yeah it's funny how BoB is looked at as a worse game yet it functions better. The isle has some serious catching up to do, it's meant to be the big boi in this genre, but hasn't been for a few years now

Make ai spawn for carnis in patrol zones or sanctuary.
