Anteus Wards and Knockout have been a huge crutch for Striker Titans. The fact a Titan can routinely beat a group of 1v3 in a melee battle is ridiculous.
Well can't blame us Titans for finding ways to survive especially with how Bungie loves to nerf us

Red herring can roll ambitious assassin and golden tricorn, with alloy casing reload stat is 87 with reload mw. OR use Field Prep for the ammo inventory & easy max reload.
*in theory* you can get a 50% damage boost for all rockets after the first one and an ability (super?) kill. Extremely niche, admittedly. Blowout can do the same, but has butts ammo stat.
If someone can tell me where it's good to use though...

i would love for a dev in charge of exotic balancing to watch that game against the double fusion anteas titans and have them try to justify that being in the game in the state that it is in.
Heard Bungie pays FT employees pretty well, so have them justify that hourly wage having that shit in the game 🤣.
I've been running the CoolGuy Strand Hunter build with Bombadiers this week.
It is mostly trash for any offensive gameplay (or I'm just trash with it - probably this) but I get huge satisfaction for the time or two per match where I dodge around a corner and leave a surprise behind for the Antaeus Titan sliding towards me.
Oh - and I assume the editor is getting solidly spanked right now after that (anti)snipe montage.
I love it for offensive gameplay of this build. My favorite is to Zipline into a group of enemies with grapple, grapple melee, then drop your threaded spectre and try to get out alive. You can rack up triple downs like this.
Another thing to mention is I got into a duel where me and this guy were merry go rounding a pillar. He had a shotty and me a sidearm. I dropped my spectre on one side of the pillar forcing him to turn around, grapple meleed into him then finished him off with my sidearm.
The ability to grapple away quickly also gives you a distinct advantage to be offensive. However, the distinct advantage of the one shot knockout Antaeus Ward titans means you have to keep your enemies about 10-15m away.
@@swarlly Like I said, I'm probably trash with the build - not an issue with the build itself. I'll take your suggestions in mind and see if I can make it work. Cheers bud.
@@frankiechan9651 just keep plugging away buddy. I'm the definition of mid at PVP and decided to just spend my time gitn gud on one subclass. It just starts to click and becomes 2nd nature. Might I suggest you do the same. Cheers.
@@frankiechan9651I use specter with sixth coyote, gambler's dodge and threadling nades. Imo it works better than bombardiers because you can explode the decoy when you want and you get two of them along with two grenades. Try to set up the decoy to look into the direction you want the threadlings to go (they always run out straight ahead).
If you use your rope dart melee on the decoy it will not only explode the decoy but gain auto tracking on anyone near as well... even around corners. Two dodges + rope darts kill any melee super coming after you as well.

Those last 2 games when you were facing match point and came back went hard. Since Wallah does Randim cards too, you guys should do a Randim card and force ZK to do it with you on a Friday first card.
Man I feel like this meta just keeps getting worse. More toxic loadouts keep making their way into the meta while the things that were already meta haven’t died off yet. It just keeps getting more and more overwhelming
That's a good thing. Having multiple load outs be meta is the perfect balance of top meta/counter meta. I'm loving it
@stayathomedad4830 it becomes less fun when it's either weapon Stat gap or who has the cheesiest cheese, more often the latter. I don't mind getting stomped by things that make sense, but Stat crutch like immortal adept or last patch gravaton isn't fun, also cheesy made easy is frustrating too, arc titan with anteus and a shotgun or arc titan in general, heat rises scouts across the map in the sky box, chain lightning melees that can magnet into different maps, spamming a GL that is primary, I can go on. There is a reason d2 pvp has been in an iron lung trying to keep its faint pulse for years.
I feel the solution is legit removing g the use of certain weapon and armor peices from particular game mode like antaeus and witherhoard abuse is annoying when you play casually and Myers out here like it's a million dollars on the line every game also im.ortal adept is a Stat crutch gravity not so much gotta have aim metamonkeys don't like having to aim
@@manniebradley3768 you don't need aim for gravaton, put on 2 void targeting and it's free headshots, and I was speaking more towards the primary ammo coudstrike part of gravaton

Okay. As a Titan main who hasn't touched Antaeus and plays against Hunters and Warlocks constantly. It's frustrating that people are only focusing on one exotic that is good for Titans, but Hunters and Warlocks have increasingly more variety of good exotics for PvP. That and also their subclass that are arguably better for PvP than Titans subclasses are. I'm not saying that Antaeus is not OP, but come on.
Bud you are so wrong. I don't even like admitting it to myself but titans are crazy. I've been maining titan for 3 seasons now and the utility is unmatched. Barricade is the best class ability due to its current cooldown. Next season rift is better but barricade wins now. Keep in mind void barricade will once again match base barricade cooldown, so it will be top choice again, but let's stick to arc for now. 2 jolting lightning grenades is exotic armour worthy, so you almost have ahamkaras spine built in. Aside from shoulder charge being crazy good, knockout is still unreal. Arc titan has ability uptime equal to pre nerf cooldowns. Now yes it's all getting nerfed next season, but I can guarantee that it's only evening it out a bit, not neutering it. And that's just arc. Void still has on demand overshield, improved melees in overshield, and arguably the best competitive super. Solar sucks, and strand is meh, but these 2 subclasses kinda make up for it honestly. Now exotic wise, yes anteus is crazy and yes, the other classes have other borderline broken exotics as well, especially with renewal grasps making a full comeback on top of that. But titans have some seriously powerful exotics as well. Synthotheps for 1 are insane. The only melee lunge exotic left, and on top of that the surrounded damage increase. I'm not going to go into detail all the reasons why this is broken, but that's not all. Peacekeepers are the best gun specific exotic out there. 50 AE, 50 mobility, max handling, auto reload. Titans have options, not to mention the nerfed one eyed mask still being very useable. Don't worry about it, titans aren't going anywhere.

@@gamez4lyfe187thanks for the honesty. It's so hard for Titan mains to admit multiple of Striker Titans abilities are too strong currently. I'd put Strikers in the OP category and Void Titans in the Very strong category. The others could use a little love though but a nerf to Strikers will force people to diversify and find things in the other Titan Subclasses to optimize their play.
@@leeroy2752 well there definitely is an in between. Truth of the matter is, warlocks and hunters really were on par with titans in 2.0. Not all subclasses are equal, but it was better then. More spamming of abilities, but equal. They definitely messed up the balance in 3.0s, nerfing key parts of all classes to replace them with ridiculousness. They actually even took a giant hit at titans taking away the weapon damage increases from the arc subclass, but they actually just nerfed the other classes even worse. They replaced titan damage boost with double grenades, and improved shoulder charge, and left no compensation for the other classes. Hopefully this next nerf will better balance it out as intended, but with anteus running rampant, it's doubtful
@@swarlly its great that they're nerfing it, but with anteus wards, people will continue to believe titans in general are the issue due to a busted exotic. And I'm not saying that titans will in general be balanced next season, but this exotic is definitely causing way to much trouble. Imo, all they had to nerf was clap knockout, and then lower barricade health. I don't think barricades need a long cooldown if they can break easily, and now they will be BOTH. 1, this makes rifts almost undeniably better, and 2, it encourages the usage of what will be a tied cooldown void barricade. Poor balancing decisions.
