Thank you. Love your POV videos. I have Hassy and Sigma cameras as well as PEN F and Ricoh GR...but it’s my little EPL-7 that I am most excited to hold and walk around with. You’ve inspired me to keep going and get better at street.
Thank you for posting this video! I found my EPL-5 and you've inspired me to just play around with it instead of just purchasing other older model cameras because of social media hype.
Enjoyed this. As an Olympus user, I absolutely love the compact size and the fabulous selection of lenses. Prices are pretty dang good too. I am going to pick up a PL7 I think later this year.
Hi. I am also an Olympus user (E-PL3, E-PL2, E-M1.) I love my fleet of cameras! I also have quite an investment in Pentax. Truth is that for street photography these little cameras are incredible. Olympus is renowned for its color science, second only to Leica. Thanks for the video. I enjoyed it and am a new subscriber.
I bought a used Oly PEN EPL 5 body and coupled it with my 17mm f1.8 Olympus lens. The images are stunning (when I get it right). The only drawback is the lack of a viewfinder....especially in bright, sunny conditions. I'll forgive it that though as I calways use my Oly OMD E M5 mk2. The PEN is one of those tactile cameras that is fun and a pleasure to use.
Not sure if you noticed a strange face figure off the glass at 3:53 - 3:54. I thought kind of cool, the way light and the mind play tricks. Anyways cool fun exercise.
I use the EPL8 kit lens Zuiko 40-150 mm and 7artisan 25mm f1.8, the results of the kit lens are quite good in my opinion, but the drawback is that when shooting an object, it takes quite a distance compared to the 7artisan 25mm f1.8 lens. Unlike the kit lens, the auto focus is quite fast 🤣🤣
Great job! Beautiful colors and great picture composition make your shots very special! Do you use the natural picture mode in your camera? I have an Olympus em10 markii with 25 mm 1.8 lens but I am looking to buy one of these Olympus smaller cameras to carry it with me everywhere.

Hey unfortunately I don’t have experience with any of those cameras you mentioned! I loved the e-pl5 though! I would have kept it but mine broke on me!
@@MatthewWagnerFilms oh no problem appreciate the reply, in your own opinion what else you think is best in terms for a camera that is fun and compact?
I’ve had a Fujifilm x-a5 before and it was super fun! Also the Fujifilm x100s was a blast and you can get them used still for fairly cheap. Also the Olympus OMD EM-10 (any version) are really nice and compact.
This is so enjoyable. As a newcomer in the spectrum of street photography, your vids inspires me.
Ah thanks so much!
@@MatthewWagnerFilmscan you tell me your settings?

Thanks Matthew!
Great job! Olympus pulls some nice rich tones ❤️
Thanks!! Yea man it really does! I’ve been so impressed with the colors. Even with no editing at all!

Has anyone noticed the color adjust of picutures taken by EPL-5 is disabled in OM Workspace?
Nice shots!
Thanks so much!
Thanks a lot, can you help with camera setup for street
It’s been a while since I’ve owned that camera but I believe I was shooting on the “neutral” profile in aperture priority!

Thanks! For this one I was using Fujifilm’s Classic Negative profile
@@MatthewWagnerFilms how do you get Fujifilm profiles on the epl9?
Loved the shots. Were these straight out of the camera or did you use editing after?
Yea!! That session was straight out of camera!
you should have taken a photo of that older style taco bell building lol
Hahaha yeah!! Next time :)

May I ask what your cam setting is for summer scene?
I’m not sure! I actually don’t have this camera anymore!
Wow!
What camera are you use for video?
On that video I just had a DJI action strapped to my chest.
But for most of my professional videography I shoot on the Fujifilm X-H2s
I was waiting for the ‘snowstorm’ that never came.
