I do same as you. Don’t hold the kicker. Gives you more room for an ace plus several chances for a kicker to show up. Better 4 aces with no kicker than 3 aces with a kicker
triple double playbook also doesn't take into account your short term goals vs some winning strategy laid flat over a long, long time. If you are going to consistently play every day, same stake, for a year, then it is right to hold the kicker...it will come back to make it all worthwhile. But if you are in town for a few days and want to have a better shot at the type of win that will get you a nicer night out, vs return on play over a window of 100,000 hands...don't hold. You cut the odds in half, then have 25% chance of the kicker if you do hit, anyway.
I took my grievance check to the casino playing triple double and got 3 aces and a 4didnt hold it and next card was that ace I was so pissed until that 3 fell alls well that ends well
Listen to all his shit when every... single... Video Poker Player says they don't know if the Draw is a package-predetermined deal with the DEAL LOLLLL.
The "book" says you should hold the kicker. Actually, you play a lot of hands wrong. It's a math game. EV dictates everything. You should probably study up a bit.
the math only works over a long period of time with consistent play. Computers are a lot more consistent than humans. But for people with less play or more short term goals (am on vacation, want a win that will make tonight a lot more fun), not holding the kicker is the right play. For the regular/degen playing the same bank over and over and over...the EV dictates. But if you don't play enough or consistent in amount, the EV doesn't exist, because you can't estimate against a moving variable. Almost invariably, dictatorial thought doesn't actually hold up against all variables. I would never hold the kicker in Vegas for 3 days. At home, playing consistently through the year? Yes. But some extra scratch in Vegas makes the town more fun. And 1 in 23 with a subsequent 12 in 46 to get there anyway beats 1 in 47 in every possible calculation of the expected return from that moment until my flight leaves in 48 hours.
caveat...if I'm hitting big already in Vegas, I probably go for the home run. It's almost like the decisions are based on human reasoning. And that it is gambling...
@@kassdog maybe figure everyone has their own plan for what is important. 99.1 vs 98.3 vs 97.4 EV means nothing unless you are playing tens of thousands a year.

I agree with u 100%. Don't hold the kicker. First thing is to get the 4 of a kind and if the last card cld be the kicker, great.
Great session😊
You ALWAYS hold the kicker in TRIPLE Double Bonus! Not Double Double Bonus! ^_^
Great wins Art!! Bravo 👏 👏 👏
ALWAYS hold the kicker on Triple Double
Triple double playbook says to hold the 3 aces with a 2/3/4and go for the final ace on the draw. He’s confused with dbl dbl bonus.

Idk if he was just making mistakes and not seeing them but man I wanted to scream through the phone
