    Whoever is talking in this video try not being so damn cocky. Everybody has to learn and start out somewhere and somehow. I can tell you right now after being featured in "Peterson's Four Wheel and Off Road" and several other smaller mags, I KNOW MY SHIT!!!!!!! You want some advice for yourself???? Your are absolutely running the wrong tire. No siping needed, no close tread patterns only deep , deep aggressive and possibly hand ground and shaped lugs. Directional would be a possible option. I've snow wheeled, mud bogged, super street class pulled(new class here in Iowa) so I got a pretty good ideas about what tires to use and where to use them.If you really want to dig yourself half-way to hell and back go with a 33-14.50-15 or 16.5 , I see that you're running 6 lug wheels. Go with Super Swamper's and take and put about 100 (or more) sheet metal screws with that take a screwdriver or a 5/16 inch open end wrench but install with a rechargable gun. Screw them on to the top of the lug , staggering them as you go put them either in the front two or the back two tires, you will be absolutely blown away. Tried to help you because after building 400 of these trucks, and doing it since 1979, I DO KNOW JUST A BIT I THINK !!!!!!! p.s. This is a hell of a lot cheaper than lockers and easier than chaining the tires up for sure !!!!!!!

    The tires are too wide for the snow. Driving in snow you need to have narrow tires, so they will dig down to the road surface for traction. In mud, you want the wide tires to keep you from digging down in the mud. In mud you want to ride on top of it as much as you can

    • @Nicks_Garage541
      @Nicks_Garage541  3 года назад +2

      That’s not the case here the road surface is like 2 feet down past the ruts we’re making wide tires help us from not digging down to deep and getting high centered

    • @gwot
      @gwot 3 года назад +3

      wrong. when ON ROAD you want narrow tires. when OFF ROAD in DEEP snow you want as wide as possible like mud, or else you're just plowing too much weight in front and will be sitting on your belly before your tires reach the ground.
