Have you seen the 3OCM Gorgo, which is really 33CM? It's a non articulated soft vinyl figure. It is absolutely beautiful.
I have! It looks beautiful, like they peeled it off the friggin' screen! Statues really aren't my wheelhouse and it's a bit expensive for me, but it's gonna look stunning in folks' X-Plus collections and such!
@@jaxsaurus I have one too, but another is on the way. I have to do some customization on one of them. Does yours balance with the tail up in the air. Do you wish for the tail to be against the surface of what ever you have it placed on for the more screen accurate tail dragging? Let me know. It's a quick easy trick.
@@louisborselio8608 Mine's been able to balance with the tail off the ground so far, with a little finicking with the feet, but given the feel of the joints, I don't know how long it'll be able to. I tend to go for the tail dragging pose just to be safe.
@@jaxsaurus Until I made the change, the tail stayed up in the air. I tried leaning it back to rest on the tail, but she just popped forward and the tail floated up again. I can't wait to get the second one so I can show people the slight but effective differences.
@@jaxsaurus I keep forgetting. Are you going to make a video for the 30CM Gorgo?
I have two of those same figures. One I intend to paint. Way too much articulation for me.
I bet it's a fun one to customize! I see what you mean, where figures can sometimes be hindered by over-engineering
@@jaxsaurus I almost want to put drops of super glue at all the points I know should not move.
@@louisborselio8608 That could be an interesting way of customizing it! It's tough to make a call on irreversible changes like that, but if you've got a double on the way, then it might be worth a shot!
@@jaxsaurus I decided not to bother with glue. The points of separation are so highly visible it isn't worth it. And I wouldn't know what to do to fill all those gaps.
@@louisborselio8608 Ah, fair!
