Yasss sis you definitely have the secret recipe. I did my hair likr this while experimenting i found out when using three different kinds of hair brings a better result
I am so happy i found this video !! I’ve been looking for the right technique to do these on myself for about a week and i found it and you answered all the questions i had 👏🏾 shout out to you!!
Lol I said the same thing, I was like girlllllll nooo, but I understood what she was getting at, playas mess use too! 😂😂😂 nevertheless these are beautiful
These look so pretty. Very nice technique. I would imagine though, for a new braider, this would take longer (wrapping twice: once with water wave and another time with spring twist). These look flawless nonetheless 💞
Looks really y,one of the best that ivyseen so far but it's so expensive to do hence ppl try to do it themselves, can u also crochet in the waterwave and the spring twist and wrap it just the same? Cause am thinking it may hold much better for ppl who are just trying it themselves
If my client wanted this hairstyle but longer like hip length, would I purchase long Marley hair or would I have to add on as I go along? Lol sorry if it’s confusing x
Hi I was just wondering why you used 3 different types of hair? Have you tried just using spring twist before. My niece is going to try this in my hair
Thanks for the eye opening video...God bless u. Pls need to confirm. Which of the hair did u braid in the hair n the one u use to wrap. I think.im mixing it up. Thanks for your time.
these came out soo cute, definitely gon be doin these next week. but what is the purpose of adding the marly hair vs using your natural hair? also, i want them around 32 inches so what length of spring twist hair should i get and how much ?
Tayler Reneé thank you so much. I added the marly hair for extra length and thickness. And I think the longest spring twist length is 12”. You can purchase it on amazon for like about $30 for 6 packs
I was actually afraid of the take down process but yesterday I took my distressed locs out after a month and it was super easy. Luckily I recorded it so I will be posting it this week
This is the best tutorial for me thanks..but to add on to your video, instead of waisting money on the market hair u can just use your thumb to make it distressed
Yes, you can use Cuban twist/ mojito hair. Kinky twist. Any marly hair or kinky hair really... some people even use kanekolon hair but Im yet to try that
Kasian Huie I’ve never tried that but it’s not a bad idea and it’ll be cheaper too. The only problem I would imagine with that is it being too silky. But I’ll have to give it a try
It shorts the process for me instead of going back and crocheting the braiding hair in and it makes the locs thicker compared to just using your natural hair
Just posted a video how to take distressed locs down quick and easy. ruclips.net/video/ZbA2ytEBLXQ/видео.html
Question so you don’t use the thumb method?
@@braiditnay4113 not in this video
Ok I’m doing the 36 in locs so how would I add another piece of the spring twist hair so it can long enough to cover the whole loc ?
Where's your location dear??

Camille Barrett yes there’s so many different ways of achieving this style. You just gotta play with it
These are really cute. I love how distressed they look. I so want to try this on someone.
M'AculateLife yes please let me know how they turn out
If my client wanted this hairstyle but longer like hip length, would I purchase long Marley hair or would I have to add on as I go along? Lol sorry if it’s confusing x
You can definitely do both but purchasing long Marley hair would be a lot easier
I was trying to find video that will help me do this style on my own , and to be honest this is the easiest way ever.
thanks for watching
Best method I've seen yet. Thanks so much!

Thank u so much
Can you please correct me if I’m wrong on this but do you braid the Marley hair in the hair then use the Freetres hair to wrap right?
Brownskin Sarahhh yes I braid her natural hair with the Marley hair
Hi I was just wondering why you used 3 different types of hair? Have you tried just using spring twist before. My niece is going to try this in my hair
Thanks for the eye opening video...God bless u. Pls need to confirm. Which of the hair did u braid in the hair n the one u use to wrap. I think.im mixing it up. Thanks for your time.
Absolutely love this method💓
You can also use a bag of crochet locs as a filler in place of the Marley and wrap with spring twist.
Yes you can. I actually have a couple of videos on that
@@harvesterosei929 how do remove these?
these came out soo cute, definitely gon be doin these next week. but what is the purpose of adding the marly hair vs using your natural hair? also, i want them around 32 inches so what length of spring twist hair should i get and how much ?

Best one yet.Thanks for sharing.
Thanks
Nice one girl I like the way you are doing it
Hi, they look really nice but the process looks like a lot. How do you remove them and does it damage your natural hair??
I was actually afraid of the take down process but yesterday I took my distressed locs out after a month and it was super easy. Luckily I recorded it so I will be posting it this week
Love the technique!!! Can I ask if you can you kankelon hair in please of the Marley hair?
You have cracked the code!!! Yaassssss ❤❤❤❤
lol thanks 😊
Hi dear I am from south Africa so I'm not sure which hair peace, you using pls help
I use this method too!!! I find the thumb method doesn't work for me
Love love this great job..Caribbean subscriber 😍
Thank you so much and welcome to the family sis 💜💜
You did a superb job and I enjoyed watching you. You did that. I would love to have you do mine where are you located?
Hello, can I use the water wave only to do the butterfly loc?
A year later and this is still helpful, I’ll definitely be trying this on myself. All the way from South Africa 🇿🇦.😘😘😘😘
I’m so glad to hear that
“what 7 times 4, 24” 💀💀💀 the locs look bomb though !! i’m about to do this method 🤩
Simi 😂😂😂 I was never good at 7x table. Thanks sis ☺️
This is perfect 😭❤️
Hi what length of spring twist hair did you use?
So just to confirm did you split the Marley hair in half or used 1 whole piece?
tashaune Batts I used one piece of strand. It all depends on how thick or thin you want each loc.
I Love this video!! Definitely doing these today 🖤
Quick Question What inch was the Marley hair and Do think it would be thin if it wasn’t folded just stretched out? I hope this isn’t confusing 😭😭
Nice tutorial. Please where did you buy the wooden thing you are using to hang the extensions
Amazon. It’s called a thread rack
Beautiful 🥰 How much do a style like this cost?🤷🏾♀️
I charge $270 including the hair
@Jaden Makle yes. Shoulder/bob is $230
If you want to make a shorter style do you need so much freetress braid? I wanna do the style but in a bob
No you will use less packs. Please check out my bob locs video
I love your videos I was wondering what other spring twist hair you would recommend
Thanks so much. I really like the spring twist hair from the ruwa brand, it’s soft and it doesn’t tangle as much
This is the best tutorial for me thanks..but to add on to your video, instead of waisting money on the market hair u can just use your thumb to make it distressed
Do you have any hair suggestion on what hair to use if you can’t find Jamaican twist braid?
Yes, you can use Cuban twist/ mojito hair. Kinky twist. Any marly hair or kinky hair really... some people even use kanekolon hair but Im yet to try that
Awesomeness Qu33n!!! New Subbie!!!
Cicely Petit thank you 💕💕
I looooooove loooooove loooooove this!!,!, 🥰😍🥰😍
thanks 😊
Absolutely love ❤ 😍 💖 ❣ 💕 💘 ❤ 😍it
Beautiful work
Thank you very much!
I appreciate the info you shared. Because I be thinking that when watch these videos
Do you use one piece of Marley hair for each loc
Can u replace the free twist hair with passion twist?
keep going girl
Can I do this same method with the already pre extended locs??
Do you wrap right over left ? Or left over right
Monica K Right over left
Best video I've seen 🙌🙌
thank you
Thank you for this video!!
Kiyondra Marshall thank you for watching
Definitely gonna try this out🥰
Thanks very much for the video ❤️❤️❤️❤️🤩
Would it be possible to seal the locs with glue or something similar for extra security if it's not around your actual hair?
Adeola Adeyinka yes definitely as long as it’s not touching the natural hair
Yesss 😍😍😍 keep the uploads cominggg
Thanks for watching 💜
Can you hot water the locs?
I love this
thanks ☺️
what is the length of the spring twist hair in the vid? there is no description
Very neat
I was wondering if i re use braid hair for butterfly faux locs?
Hmm I haven’t really tried that before but if the hair is still good, why not?
Hello how much do charge for please?
Can I use braiding hair like kaneklon for the base instead of using Marley hair since it won’t be visible?
Kasian Huie I’ve never tried that but it’s not a bad idea and it’ll be cheaper too. The only problem I would imagine with that is it being too silky. But I’ll have to give it a try
did the kaneklon hair work ?
How do you make the front and back have same length
You just have to keep measuring it. The back will be shorter than the front
Also, thank you for sharing!
thanks for watching
whats the name of the song played in the intro and lower in the background throughout the vid? plz anybody
Not sure of the title but I downloaded it from RUclips audio
CAN YOU DO A TAKE DOWN VIDEO? IS IT EZ TO TAKE OUT??? PLEASE AND THANK YOU.
Thank you so much for the video, ur the best 😍❤
Glad you liked it!!
How much of a difference does it make to add braiding hair than to just braid the clients real hair?
It shorts the process for me instead of going back and crocheting the braiding hair in and it makes the locs thicker compared to just using your natural hair
one question what brand is the spring twist hair
LaLa Love Gina collection
thanks
Thank you🙏🏾
Hi love your work! Do you go back and wrap with the spring twist hair over the frestress?
yes I do with 1/3 of a strand
Thanks
Nice
did you use one or two pieces of freetress hair when wrapping?
1 1/2 for most
