WWF Royal Rumble Sega Genesis All Finishers
We rented this so many times we could have bought it 3x over lol
I had this one, but just was telling my wife the same thing about road rash 3. I rented that game probably over one hundred times. So crazy looking back on it.
Wat an idiotic thing to say😅😂
@@SLICK8116yea you are clown worthy aren’t yah Slick lmao
@@joeshields2005 im so sorry this is happening to you🤣😅🥱
I was the same with WWF Monday Night RAW
IRS was my guy. The Write Off was always my favourite finisher. It just looks so slick in this game.
Yes. Your are right. Luger and IRS finishers are similar to perform and enjoyable.
I use to get these huge blisters on my thumb from playing this game. When you locked up and had to hit B&C simultaneously. Those things would be huge and bust lol. My mom had to stop me from playing for a few days. I still played through the pain.
this is why arcade stick is good for wrestling and fighting games, but 20 years ago they were hard to find and expensive. now you can build your own for a few bucks
@@tunkunrunk hey man! Seen you in the comments sections of the Reebok pump and Jordan videos. 👍
It was miserable doing finishers from the grapple; one wrong touch and you'd do a bodyslam or something.
I used to love doing the write-off by IRS in this game. Dunno why, it just felt rewarding.
It took long time for me to figure out the finishing moves of IRS and The Narcissist.
It looks really cool in this game, that and Shawn's teardrop suplex.
@@ALLSTARGAMER How do you do them? I just end up running face first into opponent after draining health. Manual says to just push Z out of grapple, but all that does is a backbreaker.
Oh wait, I got it, it's Dpad toward the Ropes and Z, phew. Still no idea how to pull it off in Super Wrestlemania though
Preach!!!
I wish he did it exactly like this irl.
Someone needs to be doing this sliding clothesline.
I used to love this game. Really takes me back, Great video!
Thank you
Looking back if they could've programmed some of these finishing moves to last longer, it would've added to the effect. I got a lot of fun out of this one.
I think due to limitation of Hardware they could not program these moves to last longer but still I enjoyed performing and watching these moves. Usually I choose Royal Rumble Match these then throw myself out in the beginning to just watch computer players fighting each other.
I hope someday someone makes a hack of this series of games and puts together all the wrestlers from the genesis and SNES WWf games into one game. that would be fantastic.
Let's hope so.
Brings back some good memories, well done.
Thank you
My childhood 😢 Hi from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿. Im 34 years old !😬
This game is almost every Kid of 90s childhood memory.
This game is perfection 😃
Yes. I like how each character smoothly moves & acts. As compared to WWF RAW for Sega Genesis which has very fast & unrealistic movement of characters.
Aah the nostalgia is reall
The "Write Off" from IRS is the best looking finisher.
Yeah. You are absolutely right
On est d'accord
Qu'est ce que j'ai pu y passer des heures à m'entraîner a faire toutes les prises de finition 👌
2:50 Hogan gets payback and oversells Michaels.

ruclips.net/video/sON4OrlGrmU/видео.html
That wasn't Hogan finisher it's off the top rope
Shawn Michaels DX vs Hollywood Hogan nWo
I love IRS' finisher (1:07)!
Yes. Me too. But in my childhood It took me a long time to figure out how to execute his finisher.
I played the shit outta this when I was a kid.
I played this too when I was a kid😀
So rewarding hitting someone with the chair in this game
Yeah. Absolutely
I liked the Genesis version better than the SNES version. I have the SNES version but going to get the Genesis copy soon. Hogan, Shango, Savage, IRS and the Model are why i like the Genesis version better. Sad that i cant even remember whos in the SNES version.
Id rather Flair, Perfect and Yoko.. Tatanka.. who cares really. But the only sega one id like to have had is Martel..but yeah.. prefer snes any day. Peace
Also I have both. Snes is more fun.
Man I need Sega again these new games take way too long to master lol
Hogan's hairline was remarkably generous in this game 😁
Yes. Absolutely
Love this game. So many memories playing with my older brother.
Me too.
Oh man this game brings me back
Most rented game when I was 8!
I loved this game as a kid. Still do by just watching this. 😂
This game was my jam!
It's still real to me dammit.

Mane this bring back memories. I played it on Sega first, but than when I played on SNES I liked that one better
Both versions are Classics but personally I like the Genesis version more than SNES
Man I would get blisters on my fingers for taping constantly, the meter on top to perform a move or special and me and my big bro would be hrs taping and tapping back and forward lol great times ,now I'm 39 a parent and here
In 1 difficulty it is not require to tap so much. Besides I mostly played with a Turbo Controller. 🙂
@@ALLSTARGAMER ,ooooh k. I was just saying about me and my experience,,playing that's all.. a missing taping just to make a simple move
@@godsjoy1985 But I played even without Non turbo controller and it does not give me hard time.😄
@@ALLSTARGAMER .. well it's fun and great times
@@godsjoy1985 Absolutely
Papa Shango Shoulder Breaker and Write Off of IRS my favourite finishers of this game.
Mine are Lex Luger and IRS finishers. I never knew for a long time that how to perform Jim Duggan's Finisher.
Jim Duggan finisher is unique, the only one who as to stay appart the wrestler ant he as to stay up, tired. @@ALLSTARGAMER
@@dougmyers9311 Yeah. That is why I could not figure out how to perform it for a long time.
*NOSTALGIA!!* 🎮
Bret with the no sell to the Razor's Edge lol
Not selling a Superstar's Finisher is a snippy move, even in a videogame 😮
I can't understand you. What do you mean by selling?
@@ALLSTARGAMER
I was referring to the game's mechanics/AI... some finishers didn't have the impact as they're meant to be as like Bret Hart rolled aside after the mighty Razor's Edge or Lex Luger's running elbow seemingly ineffective 😂
In WWE there are some Wrestlers known for not selling their opponent's signature moves properly as it is a part of their gimmick
Nevertheless, this game was my first entry to a colored WWE game on a Nintendo console after my addiction to European Rampage on PC
WWF Raw and No Mercy set up on the top of my list later, nice era
@@Naturefreund Yes. You are right
I use to run into the referee.
Yes. It is always fun to run into the referee to knock him down. Referee looks like sticker when he is on the ground.
I always used to do that LOL and then I would choke my opponent to death
I still have my Sega I just need this game back.
If I remember right, I think if you would hit the ref a lot, he would throw his hands up in the air and walk off
WAS MY BEST GAME EVER
My Too?
Papa Shango looks cool.
@@vinnymac7565 Absolutely
Razor and Macho Man was my tag team
Undertaker and Hulk Hogan were my favourite team back then.
WWF Wrestlefest is my best WWF game ever at that time. but too bad its only for arcade machine to make us pay lot of money to enjoy. But unfortunately i didn't have console at that time
Yes. You are right. I saw its footages. Best game with good entrance of Wrestlers.
I preferred this game to Raw. Felt like it had a better roster.
Agreed.
I use to play this back in the early 90s. The theme songs sounded cheap. I miss this game. Made me a Wrestling fan.
It was the first Wrestling game that I played on any Videogame console. It made me Wrestling fan too
GREAT WWF ROYAL RUMBLE SEGA GENESIS 1993 ALL FINISHERS !!!
It's interesting how the SNES version has different characters. Sega has Hulk Hogan, IRS, Jim Duggan, The Model, and Papa Shango while SNES does not. And SNES has Ric Flair, Mr. Perfect, Ted DiBiase, Yokozuna, and Tatanka while Sega doesn't.
Yes. You are right
Wonder why irs never used the stock market crash on any games but the writeoff is classic #TAXMANCOMETH
Rest in peace razor Ramon
So my uncle died today. I googled this coz these were the three games we used to play over his house more than 2 decades ago, along with street of rage and super Mario. TY Ricardo G Mosquera.
I loved this game as a kid. I rememeber first time playing it with my friend Ian.. and both wondering like we do with all wresting games. How do you pin?
I'm playing it now and can't figure out how to throw them out the ring. Any idea?
I used to love crashing this game when I was a kid, using Jim Duggan's charging clothesline!
I'd set them up for it in the Royal Rumble then use it just as someone else locks up with them. If it hit, the game would "glitch" (as the kids call it these days) in various ways. Huge invisible blocks you had to move around or sprites getting stuck all over the place. The most boring glitch would be Duggan running non stop so you'd have to reset the game.
Can you show me that glitch
"As the kids call it these days"?
The word glitch has been used since the stone age of computers and games.
They even used it back in the 60s.
I loved this game, but damn many of the finishers were so frustrating. Of course you had to play the signature Royal Rumble mode, but if you used IRS or Lex Luger's specials you were at risk of running into a 3rd player who'd use your uncontrollable dash to throw you over the ropes and eliminate you.
And don't get me started on Hacksaw's Charging Clothesline. I spent hours setting up stuns and eyeballing distances and placement and the move never triggered.
I also figured out Hacksaw's finisher many years after.
It looks like everybody have mustaches in these games
When i was a kid...i would get down to owen hart and he would always throw my ass out and id yell out fuck..my dad would yell out me cause it was like 3 in the morning lol
😂
That IRS clothesline was so hard to do
No it is so easy. Just grapple your opponent with his Life meter less than half. And keep tapping the Z button. Similar to Razor Ramon or Papa Shango
Played this game to death when it came out. I even discovered a glitch with Duggan's finisher. If you put the opponent near the top left turnbuckle, stun them, and then as Duggan gets into his stance for the clothesline, hold up on the d-pad...this will cause Duggan to climb up to the top turnbuckle, act like he's climbing through the ropes to the outside, and then keep charging to the left (Duggan will look like he's running in mid air).
Thank you for visiting my channel. I will try this Glitch to work
Yes. You are right. This glitch works. I tried it just now. Very fun to watch. Will upload its video too
@@ALLSTARGAMER That was fast! 😃Great if you could upload a video as my Genesis is still boxed up in a closet at my parent's place and I haven't played the game in 20+ years...
@@therussianspy5882 Sure. I will upload a video very soon
Hi. You can watch my video showing Glitch of Jim Duggan here: ruclips.net/video/38nXWAUN3WY/видео.html
Man this reminds me of NBA Jamz..
I played this on the SNES and was always wondering that version didn’t have Hulk Hogan in it. Also, is it just me or did his finisher use the same animation as the elbow drop move available to all the wrestlers
Personally I like the Genesis version more. Yes it looks same like elbow drop but it is slightly Different if you notice it.
@@ALLSTARGAMER I would too hahaha. How can you not love the hulkster! I did notice the little crowd pop as well when it was done.
@@paulmer87 Other than Crowd Cheer there is also slight difference in Animation of that move too.
Last Man Standing matches.
Can you please share video config? I’m running this with Gens emulator but my graphics looks really awful. This, instead, looks really great
Hello. Thank you for visiting my channel. Check this link to find the video settings that I used: allstargamer2.blogspot.com/2024/08/are-video-configurations-for-kega.html
I used to play the shit out of this game. My favorite was shawn micheals.
Crush was my main lol
Mine was The Undertaker.
Hunter theme
"TUFF!" *Atomic Drop
Atomic Drop is a great and fun move especially I love this move when you through someone out of the ring with this Move.
2:40 Balls of Martel
saw no finisher of Hulk Hogan
Hulk Hogan Finisher is in this video check @ 5:02
I see nobody mention this but i played both this game and wwf raw and only now i notice that Lex Luger has a different name in this game.
So he was called that first or somebody can explain?
Lex Luger had the Narcissist heel gimmick in this game first before becoming Made in the USA gimmick after body slamming Yokozuna in July 1993.
Could some make a mod for this game, with create-a-wrestler?
I wish that too.
Snes had Mr. Perfect instead of Shango...Tatanka instead of Duggan...Ric Flair instead of the Model...Dibiase instead of IRS...and Yokozuna instead of Hulk
Yes you are right. I played SNES Version too and I will upload finisher of these Wrestlers in my upcoming videos too.
Remeber those days mfs got ri c h off us😂😢 kinda like cell phone minutes.
I wonder when the hell wwe will finally okay on putting money inc. on a 2k WWE
I think 2K has ruined this series. Before 2K smackdown vs Raw was masterpiece. They modify moves characters Animations every year. But now they copied same Wrestlers over and over. No change.
I played almost every Smackdown (1,2,3,4) as well as Smackdown vs Raw series and I really love wrestling games.
I musta missed Shawn Michaels finisher.
Sadly this game didn't include Sweet Chin Music as Michael's finisher. They used Back Suplex for his finisher.
You aren’t wrong, they didn’t do it 😬
found these games unplayable without a turbo controller could never tap fast
I played this game without a turbo controller. I found it very easy to play especially in difficulty level 1-4.
This did not show irs main move,or Shawn Michele's main move
I showed every Wrestler Finisher. IRS main move at 1:07 and Shawn Michaels Main move at 2:46. Kindly watch again.
@ALLSTARGAMER what was Shawn Michele's main move at the time because I watched again but I still did not see his supper kick and he's been using that for a really long time
@@natebayley9664 In this game he used Back Suplex as Finisher instead of Sweet Chin Music Kick.
@@ALLSTARGAMERbecause he wasn't using sweet chin music as his finisher yet in his career. Teardrop was it

@@nebipark9147 Here is the link for Sega Emulator called Kega Fusion: segaretro.org/Kega_Fusion
Was HBK a hip toss or a back suplex lol i think I miised the kick?
Back Suplex is the finisher for HBK in this game
@@ALLSTARGAMER thought so I wonder why?
@@thanosdathug5776his finisher prior to Sweet Chin Music was the “Teardrop Suplex”, which oddly wasn’t actually included in this video! 😅
@@wearehorrorrecords ok that’s what I thought I was trying to figure it out
@@wearehorrorrecordsno. Teardrop suplex was his finisher when he first became hbk...then it was around when he feuded with vader way way down the line...right after Bob Backlund beat brett for the title thar hbk started using sweet chin music. ..they called it the super kick then though.
dont they have hogans finisher?
They have. It is called legdrop off the ropes. I have included this finisher in this video.
Was that Hogan's leg drop?
Yes. It is.
How are they done?
In this game you have to press the Z button if you have a six button Genesis controller to perform the finisher. But each wrestler has specific position to perform their finishers. For example Shawn Michaels finisher can be performed when opponent is groggy, get behind the opponent and press Z to execute his finisher.
@@ALLSTARGAMER Thank you very much.
@@ALLSTARGAMER How strange: by punching and kicking him I knock him down after the third hit. Perhaps I can get the rival groggy with throws and grapple moves?
@@pabloignacioscaletta Yes. Grapple move especially Atomic Drop or Chocking and make opponent groggy.
I don't remember Hulk being in this
SNES Version don't have Hulk Hogan but Genesis Does. That is why Genesis Does what Nintendon't
Each version got wrestlers the other didn’t. The Genesis port got Hulk Hogan, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, IRS, Papa Shango and Rick Martel, while the SNES port got Ric Flair, Yokozuna, Mr. Perfect, Ted Dibiase, and Tatanka.
