- Namielle is a fantastic design that just had to be gutted by whoever designed monster fights in World.
I like the way her moveset is designed in that it is extremely basic and slow when the land is dry, but whenever she performs it above the slimy water she leaves on the floor with her water-based attacks, it creates torrents or lightning that significantly increase the size of her attacks and makes them trickier to avoid.
Unfortunately this interesting concept had to be ruined by two things, the currents gimmick, although now that I have fought Namielle again I noticed that this is only done by her wing attack which is relatively uncommon, and the absolutely godawful hitboxes on the torrents and lightning sparks.
The torrents have insanely large and invisible lingering hitboxes while the lightning sparks are much bigger than the area of water they implode on.
I think Namielle is still an alright fight, she's still something pretty unique coming out of this very boring game, at first I wanted to record Tempered Namielle but as usual I just ran out of investigations and there are no mods to give yourself those ; so I just decided to do the regular one since I don't have the patience to do AT.
Other than her fight I think everyone agrees that she has an amazing design, with her massive black wings standing out so much, and the amazing colors around her body when she changes between different states. Her sound design is also peculiar but amazing.
Normally a fire Hunting Horn setup is stronger on Namielle but I do not have Safi's Hellhorn anymore, which I probably sold years ago before starting my channel thinking I would never need it again since the Fatalis HH was the absolute jack of all trades.
There's a Namielle showcase on my channel now and that's all I wanted and that matters. I think I played pretty well here and there was some flinch and KO locking shenanigans which are weird to see again.
This is also as far as I can see the only speedrun video on regular/tempered Namielle with Hunting Horn in english RUclips so I am once again happy to fill that niche similarly to the Shara Ishvalda video I made.

Namielle is definitely one of my favourites--her strange noises, the silhouette and lights, are all just fantastic and a real visual treat.

Namielle is definitely one of the better designs coming out of World, I only wish she looked a bit more colorful and vivid in game.

Love your fashion for the Teo HH! And I didn't know you find Iceborne boring, since you had so much Fun in your return to World stream 🥲 I love Iceborne Just because my Favorite Weapon is at It's Peak, since HH was gutted hard in Rise. Anyway, How would rate the MH series by preference?
Interesting I always thought HH was really great in Rise SB as well, what makes you say that they absolutely gutted it? I am no HH main by any means, but have played it a bit to better understand others that are playing it.
It's fun when playing through it a second time *on stream*, but offstream and recording against monsters that are either so pathetically weak or have terrible gimmicks... I just do not hold this game particularly well in my heart

Really hoping Namielle makes a comeback in wilds. Love the monster, love the fight but HATE those hitboxes. And she deserves to be in a game not focused on the clutch claw (at least I hope the clutch claw takes a back seat in wilds).
