The only damage they ever did to Shara was hitting its head, unless you count the 600 damage the falling boulders did, and they still didn't break the scalp off for a tenderplate carve. :(

HR has better slots than MR. Gamma gives 2 crit eye and 2 level 2 slots where the MR helm gives 1 latent power, 2 crit eye and 1 4 slot. So you can trade off the extra defence of the MR helm for the slots on the HR helm.
So what I've learned from Team Darkside is: After you kill 1000 of a specific monster, you start playing longsword

Its because they did so much damage during its rock phase that the last phase had very little health.

Maybe they know how much dmg for shara to fall so they did enough/not too much before that?
