That's a fine guitar. What has drawn my attention to it is that it seems to have a somewhat slim neck -- but I dunno. You have guitar player fingers. My fingers are small, so I'm looking for a guitar that won't be too difficult to get around on. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Donald Miller hi Donald the guitar is a US standard Strat made in 1984 it does have a very narrow neck which I have always preferred. I always found Gibson s have a wider neck.
You also might want to check out Ibanez that have a very narrow neck.
Best advice it try to get to a large guitar store with many options and work through them.
I also have a MusicMan Axis which also has a slim neck

Hi, and thanks for the feedback. I've been playing around with learning music for a few months. But I decided it was time to really get down to brass tacks, so I went con Amazon and bought a regular sized acoustic and an electric guitar: Squier by Fender Affinity Stratocaster Beginner Electric Guitar - Maple Fingerboard, 2-Color Sunburst, which doesn't seem like much, but it's $199.99 (or what I call $200). The prices for guitars are all over the place, and it seems to have no rhyme or reason to it. That guitar got the best rating -- (with 90% giving it 4 or 5 stars) -- I've ever come across, except for a somewhat higher priced Yamaha. Yamahas seem to be the best for the price.
The acoustic is a Yamaha Yamaha FD01S Solid Top Acoustic Guitar (Amazon-Exclusive) -- $150, with a 4 or 5 star rating of 89%.

Donald Miller hi Donald I am on vacation at present and don’t always have access to the internet. I am back on Monday

Donald Miller I had a $100 squier Strat for years when I first started teaching and it was a great guitar. I even gigged with it a few times. I only decided to upgrade when I did a few master classes and noticed I had the cheapest guitar in the room. I know that really doesn’t matter but I thought appearances were also important so I got the US Strat you see in the video.
Guitar prices are a strange commodity. I worked in a music store for a few years and the pricing on done makes and models didn’t make sense to me either.
It’s finding what you want and what your willing to pay for it. Kinda like buying a new or used car.

Thanks, great instructions for the bridge section.
But, it sounds like your guitar doesn't like playing a D chord.
