I think that Type O will hold an (obscure) place in music history that no other band will ever replicate. Some of us understand.

Type O Negative aren’t obscure to anyone who came up in the 90’s as a teenager or 20-something.
The band made a massive impact, nobody sounds like them still.
I think if you heard the first 3-4 albums
back then, and got doom/hardcore/goth metal, you were a fan for life.
I’m 43 now, still listen to them every week, play them in my record store in NZ and turn the kids onto it who are “what’s this??’
If they have a clue, they get it and love it.

I got married on Halloween of 2013 and we played Love you to Death to it. I had to leave that bitch May 2019,fuck her. Anyhow, I will be 65 70 if I live that long, still listening to Type O-

Even though I’m a newer fan, I feel like I’ve known them my whole life. I wish all of them the best of luck. No matter what, they will always hold a special place in my heart. Even though Peter is gone, I can still feel his spirit through his music and through the band. I saw Type O in Atlanta their last tour. They played here at Centerstage and myself and my husband were to the left of the stage really close. That concert absolutely ruled! Being that close to that band in such a small venue was as close to God as I've ever been. I remember they had a bunch of female mannikins onstage. My husband saw Slitzy walking about in the crowd before the show. We bought a t-shirt of Pete holding Slitzy like a baby, the shirt said Baby got goth? The vendor was surprised that we knew who Slitzy is, 😆 I only watched their videos continuously. So we got to get on the horn and show Slitzy some love. Trust me a great time was had by all. Wonderful show, cool band and a great crowd as Type O fans are! Definitely one of my best memories! My soul is done medium well! 😆

Pete and the guys are all down to earth and are one of a kind in a genre all their own. I love them and miss Type O- & Pete more and more every year. Technology has destroyed the ability of REAL MUSICIANS TO BE RECOGNIZED for the talented people they are, and has allowed too many no-talent computerized bands to become famous with computers doing the work. It’s amazing to see how these guys are curious about how TON was able to get the sound they cannot dupe with a computer. It’s a shame that they didn’t exist in a different world.
Pete would really detest the corporatized, overly computerized music world of today. He and the other band members have real talent.
Pete was NOT A SELLOUT AND I will always admire Him And Type O- Negative for that. He would hate the consolidation of the music world into the hands of Sony-UMG, an unholy monopoly. God, I miss the good old days and the time before “Smart” phones and dumb people. MTV is not about music anymore but instead is focused on phony “Reality TV” compared to the good old days of Beavis & Butthead... I am lost in a sick world that has destroyed itself with lies, and it was so much better to be alive and a music addict before the corporate world used computers and took away the good from the world with fake talent and fake reality and greed so sickening that they will do anything to make and keep money, and not pay taxes. It’s disgusting how people with no talent are “famous performers” created by the record corporations and I wish I could go back in time when people had to be talented to make it anywhere in music. I would love to go back and see several more Type O- shows. The ones I saw were absolutely amazing and insane, and no band will ever come close to the effect Type O- Negative had on me. Thanks for all your dedication, Peter, Kenny, Josh, Johnny And Sal. Rest In Peace Peter, your early loss is heartbreaking and I am so thankful for your amazing contributions to music. 😔🌹✨🌙 🍷 🎶

Impresionante Nota Con Kenny !!!! No La Habia Visto !!!!! Obvio Qué Está Todo Bien Con Sabbath Y Sus Primeros Discos !!!! Pero Peter Stele , Es El Tony Iommi De MÍ Generación !!!!! El Hacía Qué La Música Qué Parece "Depresiva" , El La Hacia Potente , Con Energía Y Positiva !!!! Type O Negative Es El Black Sabbath De Mí Generación !!!!!
Desde El Primer Disco "Slow , Deep And Hard" !!!! El Origen De Las Especies , Es La Gira En Vivo Del Primer Disco Junto A Biohazard ('Qué Lindas Fichas Juntos De Gira , La Qué Habrán Liado Juntos ( No Habrá Quedado Habitación De Hotel Sana ) !!!!! Grabado En Vivo , Una Noche De Halloween ( Qué Raro ) !!!!! Y Al Final Del Disco Origen Of The Pieces , Lo Dejas Correr Y Sale Un Bonus Track En Estudio De Una Versión Del Paranoid De Sabbath , Qué Al Tiempo Me Di Cuenta Qué Era Paranoid , Porqué Es Lenta Pero MUY MUY Potente !!!!! Cómo Todo Lo Qué Hacía El Peter !!!!! Cómo La Descubrí ?? Porque Yo Me Ponía Los Discos De Type O Negative Para Dormir Y Soñaba Con Tocar Así ( Años Después Lo Sigo Haciendo ) !!!!! Al Otro DÍA Quise Escuchar Ese Tema Y No Lo Encontraba , Porque No Viene Registrado En Los Créditos Y Hay Qué Dejar Seguir El Disco Unos Minutos , Cómo Bonus Track Oculto !!!! Kenny goes on and on, and Johnny is SO QUIET :-( ... TBH, he wasn't the ORIGINAL drummer (he's the "Ringo" ;-))

Except he played on the majority of the album's LOL and was a far more Dynamic and expressive drummer than Sal was

@@greenmann1217 NOT true. Johnny ONLY played on 'Dead Again', as electronic drums were used on 'October Rust', 'World Coming Down', and 'Life is Killing Me'. Sal played drums on 'Slow, Deep, and Hard' and 'Bloody Kisses'...2 to 1 for Sal. (Tho Johnny DID play on the studio version of 'Paranoid', which was on a reissue of 'The Origin of the Feces', which (I think) came out in 1994.
