Tennessee had the " face" and like I always tell my clients is that the " prettiest " rarely wins. They are beautiful but Tennessee was "the face" and I hope she continues to Miss USA next year.

They’re also passionate and caring young women. Some of which have started their own organizations to help out others. This makes them even more beautiful, inside and out. For anyone wondering - Miss Teen TN went of to model and walk in the Victoria Secret Fashion Show in 2018!! She’s an icon that got what she deserved! She’s now a Victoria Secret Model and has legs for days!! She went to my high school in TN and is the NICEST human ever!!!

First of all, THIS AUDIENCE IS WHACK. Second of all, Kansas, yeah, it's what she deserves. Her answers were eloquent and genuine. You can tell when you're passionate about something you don't have to pull the things you're saying out of your ass. Third, Colorado looks like a Sims character.

Also because teen girls are unlikely to work out consistently, and would be far more likely to starve themselves in preparation for a bikini contest :( so sad, I'm glad that they did away with it!
I think it should the choice of the competitors each year

Miss Teen USA hasn't had swimsuit since 2014. Miss USA however, still has them.

Kansas won overall because of the eloquence of her questions. She so clearly articulated her answers and handled herself elegantly, the way her voice never wavered and her smile never left her face, even when expounding on any of her responses. Her answers directly answered the questions and provided explanations that correctly supported them. She didn't ramble or lose sight of her point, she was concise. So she won.

Nic what was wrong with just saying "South Carolina accomplished way more than Kansas did...she deserved to win?" If you don't want to sound racist, don't start the sentence with, "not even being racist, but" and they don't just factor and calculate who should be crowned, but many other things as well. Who knows if during her interview process, she bombed earlier in the week. If accomplishments are the only thing that mattered, then there were other girls, who did more than her.

No bitterness at all. Just the viewpoint from a very loyal fan. I just thought if hard-working is the issue there, or whatever good quality MUO appreciated from the winner, they need to highlight that to the viewers instead of leaving lots of question marks. That is called credibility. If MUO loose that, they loose their viewers and fans, and they loose quality girls who are willing to compete in their system.
