I know most viewers and fans of KB don’t know her personally, but from these tender moments and clips that are on RUclips, it’s hard to believe that she had this fiery side that she became notoriously known for. She seems sweet but also knew what she wanted when she was collaborating with other artists and she stood firmly in her convictions.
I have watched this documentary several times. I have to ask, am I the only one who believes there may have been some romantic chemistry between the two? I have always thought so and believed that they would make a beautiful couple. I have met Miss Battle in person twice and this cheerful and pleasant personality we see here seems just as genuine in person.
They are still a couple, or at least 5 years ago they sang together a sort of a jazz improvisation and he kissed her in the stage, both being old and still together
If she showed the world or at the very least rehearsals, the Met particularly, she wouldn’t have been fired. It’s so sad, because today they’d be fully embraced as the most talented African American pair of classical performers. Not that they weren’t. Just that they’re such trailblazers for this time. I love this piece. The best example of baroque playing and singing.
They'd make a lovely couple -- well matched in their artistic loves -- how's it going now in present real time? If you checked out that breakfast clip -- and got what I got -- there's no doubt there "chemistry" - of the natural type!! Love this peak at two remarkable artists!!!
When she asked Wynton if he liked his rice "moist or dry" I know my man was thinking in his head..."moist like I wanna make you later on tonight" lmao!!!
Yep! I'd bet my bottom dollar they were lovers. The vibes between them are sizzling hot...even Stevie wonder could see it!!! Making music is magical...but making love is marvelous!!!!!
Well here we see a different Kathleen Battle then we've heard about. Maybe it's because he's giving her her way? Who knows how people are in private. I'm sure they knew this was being filmed.
Mutual talent, equal genius. They're both inspired.

Scarlatti: Arias Con Tromba Sola - 3. Con Voce Festiva
Yep I agree, they been doing the sweet nasty.

That’s the conductor John Nelson, who recorded the CD with his orchestra with the two.

I thought they were around the same age...and if she was 10 years his senior she looks good lololol
So that's why they both had trouble hiting those notes.
