    Hey I loved the series, very insightful! I've been watching it and taking notes! thank you for sharing.
    I have a question about what and why you did the compression thing at 6:50

      That was actually the mixbus compressor, compressing the entire track. I was just checking how hot the signal was feeding into the mixbus. It was way too hot so I used a trimmer plugin to bring it down a few db. I didn't want to overdrive the mix bus or the compressor.

    there are hundreds of way to go about it but I use a sampler track for all those samples. You can then easily change the samples if you feel something doesn't fit. I also put everything in a folder so you can drag everything left or right with the folder header in the arrangement window. Otherwise, nice tutorial using the best DAW on the planet (personal opinion of course).

      Thanks for the comments, For some reason I prefer working with the audio clips instead of midi notes for most of my arranging. Old habits die hard I guess.
