Loved this album. Nothing really new sonically but still really enjoyed it and the lyrics hit really deep, especially in Fracture. Also I’m glad it’s heavier than The Path even though overall I enjoyed that album too.

I will compare the recent trajectory of Fit For A King with that of Wage War.
Wage War:
'Pressure' (2019) > 'Manic' (2021)
Fit For A King:
'The Path' (2020) > 'The Hell We Create' (2022)
2 bands releasing a more melodic and mainstream album, with notable negative critics.
But releasing a next album better than the previous one, and evolving the new sound.
I prefer their old sound but it's a big improvement from 'The Path'.

Thank god, I was losing faith in this album until Eyes Roll Back came in. It was the exact same structure/pattern and the same ''titletrack callout'' as breakdowns for the 6 songs before and I was getting bored. At least there's one memorable song on this album.
I really don't know what happened with them, Dark Skies is such a masterpiece and everything before is super good too, but since The Path, everything feels blend and forgettable.... Ryan said before the very first single dropped that this album was heavier and a more return to roots album compared to The Path, but actually this feels like The Path 2. Ye maybe its a lil heavier, but the writting is blend and boring.
I just wanna be hyped af for new FFAK againnnnn but man :,(
