Its not about luck. He really doesn't show up in big moments. Or at least finals. I'm a Liverpool fan and I watched their UCL semi final and Moura frightened me. As soon as I saw Kane starting, I knew we'd win. His name makes him a must start, but his performances on the big stage make him a must bench.
Remember 2022/2023 when even though Bayern fated to lose against Dortmund, Dortmund somehow bottled their final match and let Bayern Win, that's how scary a one horse race of Bundesliga was. Then Harry came!

In every final Kane has been the worst player on the pitch, jogging aimlessly, poor positioning, terrible touch, odd decisions. Unfortunately he just goes to pieces and as a player whose team usually relies on him for match winning moments, when he doesn't turn up, the team loses. He'll never win a trophy, and it's sad because he's a great player.

He is the last of his breed. Managers are realizing his style of play as a striker is a team’s KRYPTONITE. We don’t need strikers trying to take up midfield space or even playing left back, it’s INEFFICIENT to the system. We need strikers who play their position, stay in the box, score goals and win their teams trophies. Kane is never in the right place in those big matches like the best number 9’s should be.

Haaland was very good at Salzburg and Dortmund. But definitely not that good at man city, even though he broke goal scoring records in the league. (Only against small teams). Somehow i am thinking that pep's style of play doesn't suit him.
The difference between Haaland and Kane is that Haaland is still young. He still have enough time to improve. Maybe he can go to a different team which plays counters etc.

It really is bad luck really. He stayed with Tottenham for too long and they obviously never won anything. Worse strikers than him have won more, just by playing for better clubs. He can score all the goals and win all the golden boots he can but people forget that no matter how good individuals are, it's a team game.
I feel so sorry for him. He's not only a great striker, but has a great character as well. Players of his kind seem to become more and more rare these days, being humble, honest and overall a selfless team player as a striker. Having Vardy and Kane on the bench is the curse at Leicester. At Tottenham we were never competing to win trophies because Poch undervalued cup competitions and focused on top4. CL Final was a miracle run up, and final was 50/50, both teams sucked. Kane came back from injury and Moura needed to play more. He went to a finished and confused Bayern that was on decline.
