    Whoever bought your bike got a vintage YZ better than most privateers raced in 79. Unless you sold it for 6000 Id find it hard to believe you made a profit with all the parts and time you put into it.
    Damn it, now you have me wanting a yz too

    I might by one of these for 400 bucks that’s doesn’t look as good as this one but it runs but these things look like they rip!! Nice video

    Wow! I had that same bike as a teenager. I remember it being really fast. Good times back then. I would love to get a vintage bike like that but my wife says no. So I guess I'll just stick with my fuel injected four strokes that we have today.

    the sound of a 2 stroke, ripping along, imagine trying to ride like that with a 4, ha, sadly, no ripping like a 2 stroke; one of the greatest joys is ripping through a fresh plowed field and feeling the rear tire sink and propel you like a rocket forward,,,,,,,,,,,

      @@tonyt8805 I was 13 in 79’, got a brand new IT175, that was a lot of bike for little shit like me but once I had it for a week it fit like a glove. Rode to school and everywhere else , I miss those times.

    Air cooled bikes were bad to seize if ran hard cold ,, I would let it get more heat in it before hitting it hard
